The TruVuTM Advanced Application Controller is a versatile device designed for HVAC equipment control, advanced air quality control, and various zone-level applications. It features dual Ethernet ports with built-in fail-safe, supporting direct connection or daisy chain topologies using BACnet/IP. The controller also has 12 points of onboard control and is capable of operating in a wide range of environmental conditions, making it suitable for mechanical rooms, equipment boxes, or any weather-tight location.

Product Usage Instructions

To use the TruVuTM Advanced Application Controller, follow these instructions:

  1. Ensure that the power supply is compatible with the controller’s requirements. The controller supports 24Vac +/- 15% or 24Vdc +/- 10% power input.
  2. Connect the controller to the HVAC equipment or zone-level sensors using the appropriate wiring connections. Refer to the user manual for detailed wiring instructions.
  3. If using Ethernet connectivity, connect the controller’s dual Ethernet ports to the network using standard Ethernet cables. The built-in fail-safe feature ensures reliable communication.
  4. If using Rnet devices such as ZS sensors, iVu Equipment Touch, or TruVu ET Displays, connect them to the Rnet port on the controller. Make sure to provide external power if required.
  5. If using Act Net communicating devices like i-Vu Smart Valves or Smart Damper Kit, connect them to the Act Net port on the controller.
  6. If needed, use the USB Service port for TruVu ET Display support, configuration, wireless service access, firmware updates, or controller recovery. Connect a USB drive for firmware updates or recovery.
  7. Configure the Universal Inputs of the controller according to your specific requirements. Use the provided user manual for detailed instructions on configuring inputs.
  8. Ensure that the Real-Time Clock has a power supply to keep track of time in case of a power failure. It can retain time for at least 3 days.
  9. Mount the controller securely in a suitable location. It can be mounted using DIN rail or screws, depending on your preference and installation requirements.
