  • Please do not operate this transceiver without licence in government laws banned areas.
  • Please make sure this transceiver avoids the sunshine, and avoids to put it near any heating device.
  • Please make sure this transceiver avoids any dusty,humid and water splashed place.and also avoids to put it on unstable surface.
  • If transceiver smells or smokes, please remove the battery pack from transceiver at once, and then contact our company or local dealer.
  • The repair job of this transceiver is in the charge of professionals & technical, self­ disassembly is prohibited

Unpacking Inspection

Before use, please open the carton and check the main unit and the accessories listed in the following table in detail inside the carton, if any items are lost or damaged during handling, please contact the shipper or distributor immediately.

Preparation

Caution:

  • Do not charge the battery pack for too long!
    If charging of the battery pack is not completed within the specified time, stop charging. The battery pack may overheat and burst with smoke or suddenly catch fire.

  • Do not put the battery pack into microwave ovens and high pressure containers!
    The battery pack may overheat and smoke and burst or suddenly catch fire.

  • Keep ruptured and leaking batteries away from fire!
    If a battery pack leaks (or emits a pungent odor), keep it away from flammable areas immediately. Leaking electrolyte from a battery pack can easily catch fire and may cause the battery pack to smoke or suddenly catch fire.

  • Do not use abnormal battery packs!
    If the battery pack emits a pungent odor, looks different in color, is distorted, or behaves abnormally for any reason, remove the battery pack from the charger or operating unit and do not use it.

  • Please use special charger
    The charger is specially designed for this model of radio, which is more scientific and reasonable, safe and reliable for charging the battery of this model of radio.

Charging Instructions
Charging mode:
The radio is inserted into the charger charging slot, at this time the charger lights up red to indicate the start of charging, the green light is on to indicate that the battery charge has been saturated. (As shown in the figure)

Basic Operation and Function Description
Power On/Off
Turn the volume switch potentiometer clockwise to hear a “click” to turn the power on, and counterclockwise to hear a “click” to turn the power off.

Talk
Press and hold the PTI key to transmit, the indicator light will be red, then aim the microphone hole to speak, the other party will hear their own speech message. Release the PTT key after speaking to receive the other party’s message, and the green light will turn on at the same time when the other party’s message is received.

Volume Up/Down
Turn the volume switch potentiometer clockwise to increase the volume, and counterclockwise to decrease the volume.

Channel Adjustment
Rotate the channel knob clockwise for channel”+”, and counterclockwise for channel” -“.

Low Battery Voltage Reminder
When the radio gives a voice prompt “low battery” and the indicator flashes red, it means the battery voltage is lower than the working voltage, please charge the radio battery.

Monitor On/Off
Short press or long press the PF1 /PF2 key set with monitor function to turn on the monitor function, monitor whether someone is talking on the channel you choose, if there is no signal, then the “rustle rustle” sound; release the key to turn off the monitor function.

VOXOn/Off
Short press or long press the PF1 /PF2 key set with VOX to hear a “beep” to turn on the VOX function, repeat the operation to adjust the level ofVOX, the higher the level means that the voice of speech to turn on VOX is smaller, hear “beep” two sounds to close the VOX.

Channel lock On/Off
Short press or long press the PF1 /PF2 key set with channel lock to hear “beep” to open the lock function to lock the channel, and then short press or long press the PF 1 /PF2 key to hear “beep” twice to close the channel lock function.

Scan On/Off
Short press or long press the PF1 /PF2 key set to scan to hear a “beep” to open the scanning function, the green light flashes to start scanning, when the signal received the machine out of the scan sound, after receiving the signal machine then automatically enter the scan; then short press or long press the PF1/PF2 key to hear a
“beep “two sounds to close the scanning function.

Alarm Function On/Off
Short press TOP key to open the alarm function, the alarm is divided into local alarm (only local alarm) and remote alarm (both transmitter and receiver will be alarmed), you can select the alarm mode by writing frequency software; press PTT key to cancel the alarm.

Power Switch On
Short press or long press the PF1 /PF2 key set with power switching to open the power switching function, hear “beep” one time to switch to low power, hear “beep” two times to switch to medium power, hear “beep beep beep “three times to switch to high power.

Noise Reduction On/Off (Receive and Transmit Two-way Noise Reduction)
Short press or long press the PF1 /PF2 key set with noise cancellation to turn on the noise cancellation function, and hear a “beep” to indicate thatthe noise cancellation function is turned on (with two­way noise cancellation for receiving and transmitting), the background sound of the surrounding environment will be eliminated when the transmitter turns on noise cancellation shouting, only the human voice will be retained and the audio will be transmitted to the receiver; when the receiver turns on noise cancellation, the background sound of the transmitter transmitting When the receiver turns on noise reduction, the ambient background sound from the transmitter will also be eliminated. Repeatedly operate the button to hear “beep” twice to turn off the noise reduction.

One-touch Group Call On/Off
Press and hold the TOP key to turn on one-touch group calling. After turning on group calling, each machine will be transferred to the group calling channel for transmitting and receiving regardless ofthe different channels it is on; the group calling channel can be selected by editing the program – optional functions – and the recovery time and PTT reply can also be set by the frequency writing software (after selecting the PTT reply and holding down the key to turn on group calling, the transmitter and receiver can still talk to each other by pressing the PTT key after releasing the key and waiting for the recovery time before exiting the group calling); release the TOP key to exit one-touch group calling. The transmitter and receiver can also talk to each other by pressing the PTT key and waitforthe recovery time to arrive before exiting the group call); release the TOP key to exit the one-key group call.
