Vigitron’s patent pending Vi00024 is an innovative test tool that installation reliability by measuring PoE capacity at any point of a networks before installing a camera. The Vi00024 simulates PoE devices and measures the maximum PoE capacity received from the PoE source over the network. It is compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at/bt standard up to 74W.

The Vi00024 operates in both Manual and Auto mode. In manual mode the user can manually increase the PoE consumption of the Vi00024 until it reaches the maximum available PoE. In the auto mode, the Vi00024 with the push one bottom can measure maximum available PoE in a few seconds.

The Vi00024 includes a rechargeable battery that can be charged via a USB type C connector using any standard USB charger. It is very low power and with a full charge can operate for several days.

The Vi00024’s compact and light weight construction makes is easy to carry and use. It is easy to use and helps to speed up installations and prevent service calls by locating and helping to solve PoE problems.

  • No objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on Vigitron equipment.
  • DO NOT install the unit in a place where the operating ambient tempera ture exceeds 75°C.
  • Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
  • Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
  • Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as a power supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled, or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
  • The network cable is used as the disconnect device and shall remain readily operable.

The Vi00024 Setup

Turning On

  • Hold down the Button to Turn ON the Vi00024 and view “Selection Menu” on the display .
  • In Selection Menu:
    • Press Once for AUTO Mode.
    • Press Twice for Manual Mode

Auto Mode
After selecting Auto Mode the Vi00024 will turn on a PoE Load and increase the load gradually until the PoE source shuts down due to  exceeding its maximum load capacity. Then the Vi00024 will display the maximum PoE level.

  • Press Twice to exit the Auto Mode.

Manual Mode
In the Manual Mode select the load increase mode:

  • Press Once for Class Mode
  • Press Twice for 5W Mode

Class Mode
In this mode select the desired PoE Class.

  • Press Twice to exit Manual/Class Mode.

5W Mode
In This mode Press Once each time to increase the PoE load by 5W up to 74W.

  • If time out, Press Once to resume operation.
  • Press Twice to exit Manual/5W Mode.

Turning Off

  • Hold down the Button for 3 Second to turn off the Vi00024.
  • If the Vi00024 is left idle for 1 minute, it will shut down unit time out

Limited Lifetime Warranty

Vigitron, Inc. warrants that all Vigitron products excluding batteries (“Product”), if used in accordance with these instructions, will be free of defects in material and workmanship for lifetime defined as the duration period of time until product end of life is announcement. After which Vigitron will continue to provide warranty services for a period of 3 years. Period covering valid warranty will be determined by proof of purchase in the form of an invoice from an authorized Vigitron dealer.

Warranty will only be provided for as long as the original end user purchaser owns the product. Warranty is not transferable. At Vigitron’s option, defective product will be repaired, replaced or substituted with a product of equal value. This warranty does not apply if, in the judgment of Vigitron, Inc., the Product fails due to damage from shipment, handling, storage, accident, abuse or misuse, or if it has been used or maintained not conforming to Product manual instructions, has been modified, or serial number removed or defaced. Repair by anyone other than Vigitron, Inc. or an approved agent will void this warranty. Vigitron, Inc. shall not under any circumstances be liable to any person for any incidental, indirect or consequential damages, including damages resulting from use or malfunction of the product, loss of profits or revenues or costs of replacement goods. The maximum liability of Vigitron, Inc. under this warranty is limited to the original purchase price of the Product only.
