DCR-SR100 3MP 30GB Hard Drive Handycam
Hard Disk Drive Handycam offers you numerous features for your convenience and
entertainment.
Recording onto the hard disk for long hours and playback easily
Record high quality images for longer hours
You can record movies for more than 7 hours (when IREC MODE] set to IHQJ),
about 11 hours (lSP1), or about 21 hours (ILP)) onto the hard disk. (Data
amount equivalent to seven 12 cm DVD discs.) You can record a maximum of 9,999
shots of still images of 3,050,000 pixels. The large-capacity hard disk drive
allows you to record for longer. For instance, during your trip, you do not
worry about the recordable disk space to run out.
Search for recorded images quickly
The VISUAL INDEX screen allows you to check the recorded images at a glance.
You can quickly search for the desired image to playback. The Date Index
allows you to search for images by shooting date.
Start recording whenever you are ready and edit easily
All the recorded images are saved on the free hard disk space. You are not at
risk for writing images over your favorite ones by mistake. Deleting unwanted
images is also easy. Start recording whenever you are ready! The Playlist
allows you to add, delete, or change the order of your recorded images. You
can play the Playlist or save it on a DVD.
Saving images on a DVD or a computer
Creating a DVD with one touch (One Touch DVD Burn) “ Connect your camcorder to
your computer using a USB cable (supplied) and press the DVD BURN button on
your camcorder Images that have not been saved on a DVD will be selected and
saved automatically.
Copying images to a computer (Easy PC-Back-up) High-speed USB (USB 2.0) allows
high-speed transfer of data *
Connect your camcorder to your computer using a USB cable (supplied) then you
can copy image data to your computer. Images that have not been saved on your
computer will be selected and saved automatically. When your computer is
compatible with USB 2.0, it takes only about 6 minutes to copy a 60 minutes
movie to your computer. You can edit the saved images using the software
supplied with your camcorder.
5 .1 ch surround sound system makes the scene alive
The internal microphone enables you to record 5.1ch surround sound. You can
burn a DVD with 5.1ch surround sound using the software (supplied). If you
have a 5.1ch surround sound system (such as a home theater), you can enjoy
movies in powerful 5.1ch surround sound.
The software (supplied) must be installed on your computer. For details on
operation, see the Camera Operating Guide/Computer Application Guide supplied
with your camcorder.
