- Find your speaker pattern by referring to the illustration on the back page or use the flow chart provided.
- Press the power button (?/1) to turn on the system.
- Press the MAIN MENU button repeatedly until “SET UP” is selected.
- Use the arrow buttons (or + and – buttons) to select “EASY SET.”
- If “EASY SET” is not available, select “NORM SET” and use the + and – buttons to select “EASY SET.”
- Refer to the illustration on the left side and follow the corresponding speaker configuration based on the number of speakers you have.
- Connect the speakers, DVD player, TV, and subwoofer according to the instructions provided in the operating manual supplied with the receiver.
Note: Make sure to follow the instructions provided in the operating manual for detailed setup and connection information.

Easy setup guide for speaker system
Refer to the illustration at right for speaker connections (AG).
You can setup the speakers easily by selecting the speaker pattern. Use the
buttons on the receiver for the operation.
- Find your speaker pattern by refering to the illustration on the back page. You can use the flow chart on the back page.
- Press ?/1 to turn on the system.
- Press MAIN MENU repeatedly to select ” SET UP “.
- Press or repeatedly to select “EASY SET”. If it does not appear, select “NORM SET” and press + or to select “EASY SET”.
- Press or repeatedly to select “SP. PAT. X X”.
- Press + or repeatedly to select your speaker pattern, then press ENTER.
What is your speaker pattern ?
The speaker pattern depends on the number of speakers you have.
- A Front speaker (L)
- B Front speaker (R)
- C Center speaker
- D Sub woofer
- E Surround speaker (L)
- F Surround speaker (R)
- G Surround back speaker
Refer to the illustration at left, follow
(yes) if you have the speakers and follow
(no) if you do not.
