Product Information

  • The 4×1 HDMI 2.0 KVM Switcher with Hotkey Switch (Model: 4KSW41-KVM-Pro) is a versatile device that allows you to connect up to four HDMI sources to a single HDMI display. It supports HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2, providing a full 18Gbps bandwidth that supports 4K resolution at 60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling and HDR. It also supports a refreshing rate of up to 1080P at 120Hz.
  • The switcher features one USB 1.1 port for keyboard connectivity and two USB 2.0 ports for connecting USB devices. It supports button switch, IR remote switch, and hotkey switch (keyboard must be connected to the USB 1.1 port). Additionally, it has a microphone input and a headphone output for audio applications.
  • The switcher is compatible with Windows 10/8/7 XP, Mac OS, and Linux. No driver is required, making it a plug-and-play device.

Front Panel
The front panel of the switcher features the following:

  1. Power LED: Indicates whether the device is powered on or off.
  2. HDMI Input Selection Buttons (1~4) and LEDs: Press the corresponding button to select the HDMI input. The LED next to the button indicates the selected input.
  3. IR Receive Window: Receives IR signals from the remote control.
  4. USB 1.1 Port: Connect a USB slave device, such as a keyboard, for KVM function and hotkey operation.
  5. USB 2.0 Ports: Connect USB 2.0 high-speed devices for KVM function.
  6. MIC In: Connect a microphone for audio input.
  7. Line Out: Connect an earphone or audio output device.

Rear Panel
The rear panel of the switcher features the following:

  1. DC 12V: Connect the provided power adapter.
  2. IR Ext.: Connect the provided IR receive cable.
  3. HDMI In (1~4): Connect HDMI sources to these ports.
  4. HDMI Out: Connect an HDMI display to this port.
  5. USB Host (1~4): Connect USB host devices. Each USB host is bound with the corresponding HDMI input, allowing USB devices connected to the switcher to be accessed by the selected HDMI source.

Product Usage Instructions

Warnings:

  • Before wiring, disconnect the power from all devices.
  • During wiring, connect and disconnect the cables gently.

Front Panel Usage:

  1. Connect the HDMI sources to the HDMI In 1-4 ports.
  2. Connect a USB keyboard to the USB 1.1 port and other USB devices to the USB 2.0 ports.
  3. Connect a microphone to the MIC In port and an earphone or audio output device to the Line Out port.
  4. Use the HDMI Input Selection Buttons (1~4) to select the desired HDMI input. The corresponding LED will indicate the selected input.

Rear Panel Usage:

  1. Connect the provided power adapter to the DC 12V port.
  2. Connect the provided IR receive cable to the IR Ext. port.
  3. Connect an HDMI display to the HDMI Out port.
  4. Connect USB host devices to the USB Host (1~4) ports. Each USB host is bound with the corresponding HDMI input, allowing USB devices connected to the switcher to be accessed by the selected HDMI source.

Note: Make sure to follow the correct wiring and connection instructions for optimal performance of the switcher.

Overview

  • 4KSW41-KVM-Pro is a 4×1 HDMI KVM Switcher with Hotkey Switch. It supports HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 compatibility, and supports resolutions up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 8bit. The four USB port KVM switcher allows users controls four source devices/computers with only one set of USB devices (e.g., USB mouse, USB keyboard, USB flash and other USB2.0 compliant devices).
  • The switcher features virtual interaction function, which can reduce the switching time and does not need to frequently pull the HPD signal of the source device each time. It also supports direct switching through buttons on front panel, IR Remote switching, and hotkey switching through keyboard connected to the special USB port. It provides a wide compatibility choice for different operating systems, such as Windows, Mac OS and Linux, no driver required and simple plug and play.

Control of the Switcher
You can choose to switch input sources at your convenience through front panel buttons, IR remote or Hotkey function.

Front Panel Control

  • Users can choose to use front panel buttons to do basic switching operations.

IR Remote Control

The included remote handset can be used to turn on and off a CEC-enabled display device and to switch four HDMI sources to one display device. Hotkey Function
One USB 1.1 port on front panel of the switcher supports keyboard Hotkey function.

  • Supported Hotkey : Tab (default), Left Ctrl, Right Ctrl, Caps Lock
Key Operation Function
Press the “Hotkey” twice quickly Switch to this hotkey
Press “Hotkey” +”1” Switch to input 1.
Press “Hotkey” +”2” Switch to input 2.
Press “Hotkey” +”3” Switch to input 3.
Press “Hotkey” +”4” Switch to input 4.
Press “Hotkey” + “Left” Switch to the previous input source

(Cycle 4->1).

Press “Hotkey” + “Right”| Switch to the next input source (Cycle 1->4).

For example:
If you want to use the “Left Ctrl” as a hotkey, press the “Left Ctrl” key twice quickly to switch the hotkey to it, and other hotkeys are invalid. If you need to use other hotkeys, please repeat the above steps.

Products are backed by a limited 1-year parts and labor warranty. For the following cases AV Access Technology Limited shall charge for the service(s) claimed for the product if the product is still remediable and the warranty card becomes unenforceable or inapplicable.

  1. The original serial number (specified by AV Access Technology Limited) labeled on the product has been removed, erased, replaced, defaced or is illegible.
  2. The warranty has expired.
  3. The defects are caused by the fact that the product is repaired, dismantled or altered by anyone that is not from an AV Access Technology Limited authorized service partner. The defects are caused by the fact that the product is used or handled improperly, roughly or not as instructed in the applicable User Guide.
