STANLEY® Inspection Camera
The inspection camera provides the user with a minimally invasive means to inspect hard to reach places. It includes an illuminated camera wand and a video output jack for recording video. The camera wand (camera end only) is rated IP67 for use in wet locations. Multiple attachment accessories are also included to aid in inspection/small object recovery.
WARNING To reduce the risk of injury and/or property damage:
- ALWAYS follow all instructions and warnings included in this user manual.
- ALWAYS ensure batteries are inserted in the correct manner, with the correct polarity.
- DO NOT mix old and new batteries. Replace all of them at the same time with new batteries of the same brand and type.
- DO NOT short any battery terminals.
- DO NOT attempt to recharge alkaline batteries.
- DO NOT mix battery chemistries.
- DO NOT dispose of batteries in fire.
IMPORTANT:
- DO NOT splash or immerse the display body in water. Only the camera and wand are rated to IP67, the display body is not and should never be subjected to water or moisture.
- DO NOT use the camera if condensation forms inside the lens.
- ALWAYS turn off the product when not in use.
- ALWAYS remove the batteries if storing the unit for over a month
- DO NOT dispose of this product with household waste.
- ALWAYS dispose of batteries per local code.
- PLEASE RECYCLE in line with local provisions for the collection and disposal of electrical and electronic waste.
INSTRUCTIONS
Batteries:
Open the door on back of unit and connect 4 AA batteries in the orientation
depicted inside battery compartment. Close battery door.
Attach Camera Wand:
Gently push the camera wand connector onto the connector of the display body.
Turn the threaded ferrule in a clockwise direction until firmly seated, DO NOT
over-tighten the camera wand.
NOTE: To remove the wand turn the ferrule in a counter-clockwise
direction, this direction is marked directly on the ferrule.
Attach Accessories:
All accessories attach to the camera end of the wand in the same manner:
- Hook the small end of the attachment into the hole in the camera body.
- Firmly slide retainer ring over attachment/ camera body.
Video Output:
Insert 3 mm jack on the video adapter cable into the video output socket on
the side of the display body. The other end of the cable can now be connected
to any compatible RCA style video input device.
Operation:

Press and hold the power button for approximately 3 seconds to turn the camera on; the power LED will illuminate and the color LCD display will become viewable.

When in use, the camera wand should be easily maneuverable into the desired position.
NOTE: Do not apply excessive force to position the camera wand. If maneuvering becomes difficult the wand may be hitting an obstruction and should be repositioned to avoid damage to the unit and/ or its surroundings. -
During use, the rotate/mirror image button (ref fig #1) can be used to better align the camera view to the user.

During use, the brightness button (ref fig #1) can be used to adjust the camera’s illumination LEDs to 8 different levels for optimal viewing in less than ideal lighting conditions.

During use, the contrast button (ref fig #1) can be used to adjust the LCD display’s contrast to 8 different levels for optimal viewing.

1-YEAR WARRANTY
Stanley warrants its electronic measuring tools against deficiencies in
materials and / or workmanship for one year from date of purchase.
Deficient products will be repaired or replaced, at Stanley’s option, if sent
together with proof of purchase to:

This Warranty does not cover deficiencies caused by accidental damage, wear
and tear, use other than in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions or
repair or alteration of this product not authorised by Stanley.
Repair or replacement under this Warranty does not affect the expiry date of
the Warranty.
To the extent permitted by law, Stanley shall not be liable under this
Warranty for indirect or consequential loss resulting from deficiencies in
this product.
This Warranty may not be varied without the authorisation of Stanley.
This Warranty does not affect the statutory rights of consumer purchasers of
this product.
This Warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws
of the country sold where in and Stanley and the purchaser each irrevocably
agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that country
over any claim or matter arising under or in connection with this Warranty.
Calibration and care are not covered by warranty.
NOTE:
The customer is responsible for the correct use and care of the instrument.
Moreover, the customer is completely responsible for periodically checking the
accuracy of the laser unit, and therefore for the calibration of the
instrument.
