12750 Dry Vacuum Cleaner

Read all safety warnings and all instructions.

Save these instructions.

  • This vacuum cleaner is not intended for use by children and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge. Otherwise, there is a danger of operating errors and injuries.
  • Supervise children. This will ensure that children do not play with the vacuum cleaner.
  • Do not vacuum dust from beech or oak wood, masonry dust or asbestos. These materials are considered carcinogenic.

Intended use

  • The appliance is intended for use as a vacuum cleaner for dry surfaces in accordance with the descriptions and safety instructions in this manual.
  • This appliance must be used exclusively for non-commercial purposes!

Additional safety-hints for the vacuum cleaner

  • The appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons without supervision. Never leave the machine unattended if the master switch is on.
  • Never grasp the mains plug with wet hands.
  • Check the connection lead and mains plug for damage before each use. Have a damaged connection lead replaced immediately by an authorized service-station or by an  electrician.
  • Never use to appliance to vacuum explosive liquids, flammable gases, explosive dusts, or undiluted acids or solvents! These include petrol, paint thinner, and heating oil, which may form explosive vapours or mixtures when agitated by the suction air. This applies also to undiluted acids and solvents, and aluminum and magnesium dusts.
  • Do not use the appliance to vacuum burning or smouldering objects.
  • It is not permitted to use the appliance in potentially explosive locations.

Before the first use

Check all parts are complete when unpacking the unit. The permanent filter bag, accessories and the swivel castors will be found inside the container. Please mount the castors, before you use the cleaner for the first time.

  • Remove the motor-housing from the container and take out the accessories.
  • Mount the castors to the container bottom.
  • Put the permanent filter into the container.
  • Put the motor housing onto the container and lock.

Operation

  • Attention: Never use the appliance without filter! Put one permanent-filter over the frame on the bottom of the motor-housing.
  • Connect the plug of the power cord to the outlet of 230V~.
  • Switch ON.

Dry vacuuming

It is recommended to insert the permanent filter bag for dry-vacuuming.

  • Remove the motor-housing from the tank.
  • Put the permanent filter bag into the container.
  • Slightly press the reinforcing frame onto the seam of the container, until the frame will fit onto the seam of the container on all sides.

Please note the following, when changing from wet to dry vacuuming

Vacuuming dry dust with wet or damp filters will make the filters impermeable and thus may damage them. Always allow wet or damp filters to dry before next use.

Installing the filter bag

  • Unlock and remove the suction head.
  • Remove the permanent filter basket.
  • Connect the paper filter bag with the stam inside the tank
  • Insert the permanent filter basket.
  • Fit and lock the suction head.

Blower function

The bayonet connector of the suction-hose can be fastened in the exhaust- opening of the motor-housing.

  • Push the bayonet into the opening as far as it goes and secure by turning clockwise.

Finish operation

  • Switch OFF.
  • Disconnect plug from the power supply.
  • Remove the motor housing and empty the container.
  • Clean the container after each use.
  • Always use a safe and dry place for storing.

Maintenance and cleaning

  • Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply, before doing any cleaning- or maintenance-jobs.
  • The appliance must not be cleaned using a water hose or a high-pressure water jet. (danger of short-circuit or other damages).
  • Wipe the container with a dry cloth. Do not use any detergents, which might attack the surface. Accessory parts may be rinsed out, when neccessary.

2 years warranty

The warranty for this tool starts at the date of purchase. Please provide your purchase bill as proof.
This warranty includes:

  • repair of operational failures
  • replacement of faulty parts
  • qualified service and installation

provided that the failure does not result of wrong handling.
