Important Safeguards
When using the vacuum cleaner, please follow the below safety precautions:
The following chart indicates the degree of damage caused by wrong operation.
WARNING: Indicates hazards that may cause death or serious injury.
CAUTION: Indicates hazards that may cause human injuries or property
damages.
The following symbols can distinguish the instruction types that need to be
strictly followed.
These symbols mean prohibition.
These symbols mean requirement that must be followed.
WARNING
| Before connecting to power, pleasemake sure the local voltage is the same
as the rated voltage labeled on the appliance.| | This is a high power
consumption appliance, please use an individual power socket when in use,
never use with other appliance in the same socket.
| Never use the appliance to vacuum below materials, otherwise it will cause
blockage
or damage on major parts.
– Flammable materials, hot materials or combustible liquids (e.g. cigarettes,
burning
ashes and gasoline etc.)
– Sharp or metal objects (e.g. needles, broken glass and toothpicks etc.)
– Fine powder (e.g. lime, cement, toner or gypsum powder etc.)
– Large objects
– Water, any liquid or wet surface (e.g. wet carpet)
– Chemical substance (e.g. cleaning detergent)| | To avoid danger, never use
the appliance near the environment below:
– Flammable materials, sprays and aerosols
– Heat source (e.g. radiator), fire or expose under direct sunlight
– Water
– Massive hot air, steam or humid area
| Never use deficient or loosen powersocket. Before use, make sure the plug is
dry and inserted firmly.| | To avoid electric shock, never touch, plug or
unplug the appliance with wet hands.
CAUTION
| Never immerse the appliance, power cord or plug into water or let them wet,
it is to avoid electric shock and fire.| | To avoid danger, use the appliance
only as described in this manual. Outdoor use or other applications
are not allowed.
| The appliance is intended to be usedin household or similar applicationssuch
as staff kitchen in shops, officeand other working environments; by clients in
hotels, motels and otherresidential type environments.| | Never allow children
to operate the appliance alone or play as toy. Please put the appliance and
its power cord in a place not reachable by children. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children.
| The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.| | Always check the
condition of appliance and its power cord, to avoid hazards, please stop using
immediately if any damage is found. Please contact Shun Hing Electric Service
Centre Limited for checking and repairing. Do not attempt to modify the
appliance by yourself or repair with any parts that are unauthorized,
otherwise it may cause hazards and the warranty becomes invalid.
| After the appliance is connected to power or switched on, keep the hose,
extension tube, suction inlets or moving parts away from your hair, loose
clothing, fingers or any parts
of your body (especially mouth, ears and eyes), it is to avoid injury.| | Do
not let the power cord contact with hot surface or pull it around sharp
corners and edges, or close door on the power cord. It is to avoid damage on
the power cord.
| Do not bend or step on the hose. Do not carry the appliance by holding the
hose, you should hold the handle on the main body. If any damage on the hose
is found,
please stop operating the appliance immediately.| | Always keep the suction
inlets and exhaust outlets free of blockage. If there is any blockage, please
remove them immediately. Otherwise it will cause loss of suction power or
motor overheat.
| When rewind the power cord, please grasp the plug by hand tightly to avoid
the plug whipping and cause injury.| | Great care is necessary when using the
power cord. Do not put heavy objects on the power cord. Never
clip, modify, stretch or twist the power cord.
| Never use the appliance when filters and dust bag are not in place, it is to
avoid damage due to improper use.| | Remove the plug from socket before
cleaning appliance, installing or removing the hose and accessories.
| Make sure to remove the plug afteruse to avoid electric leakage.| | Always
hold the plug tightly with hands when insert or remove the plug. Do not grasp
the power cord.
| Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is connected to power.| |
Please take extra care when operate the appliance on stairs.
Maintenance, Cleaning and Storage
Before cleaning the dust bag, filters or main body, please make sure the plug is removed from power socket. It is suggested to clean the dust bag and filter regularly, otherwise the suction power would be weakened when the dust bag is too full or the filter gets too dirty.
Clean up and replace the dust bag (cloth or paper bag)
※ If dust bag is not installed or installed improperly, the front cover on the
main body cannot be closed.
※ Only the original cloth dust bag and RVC-J14PB paper dust bag can be used
with the vacuum cleaner.

When the dust-full indicator turns red, please switch off and unplug the vacuum cleaner. Press the front cover button to open the cover, then lift up the dust bag holder to take out the dust bag.

Clean up the cloth dust bag – Remove the clip at the bag bottom by sliding towards one side and keep the clip well, open the dust bag and remove the dust. Zip the dust bag with the clip and make sure the dust bag is sealed entirely.
※ The cloth dust bag is washable with water, but it must be dried completely before use again. -
Replace the paper dust bag – Pull out the full paper dust bag from the dust bag holder, then replace with a new one.

After cleaned, insert the dust bag holder with dust bag back in place, then close the front cover until a “click” sound is heard.
Clean the filter

Remove the air inlet filter (shown in picture below) – take out the dust bag, removethe air inlet filter by sliding up along its frame.

Take out the air outlet filter (shown in picture below) – press the handle slightly on the air outlet filter frame and pull out. Then, take out the air outlet filter.

Clean the filters – Only rinse the filters with water, never clean with soap or other detergent, it would destroy the filters. After clean, let the filters dry naturally. Do not dry it by heat as it will distort the filters.

The filters must be dried thoroughly before installing back. Make sure to put back the filters to the original position before use the vacuum cleaner again.
Clean the main body
- Clean the vacuum cleaner surface by a damp cloth, then rub it dry.
- Never clean the appliance with scouring pad or other hard cleaning tools.
- Never use poisonous or corrosive detergent to clean.
Storage
- Before storage, please unplug the vacuum cleaner and rewind the power cord back to its main body.
- When store, never clip or wrap the power cord around the appliance to avoid the power cord deterioration.
- The vacuum cleaner must be cooled down before storing in a box. Store it in a cool and dry place.
First Use
- Remove all the packing materials from the appliance. If there is plastic bag wrapping the appliance, remove it before use. Never allow children to play with the plastic bags, it may cause suffocation and dangers.
- Check thoroughly if there is any damage on the appliance and accessories. If any damage is found, do not install or operate the appliance.

Accessories Descriptions
(CAUTION: Unplug the appliance before installing or detaching any accessories.)
Attach the hose to the main body Insert the hose connector into the hose
connection port of the main body until a” click” sound is heard which means it
is locked tightly. When detach the hose, press the button on the hose
connector and pull it out from the hose connection port.|

Attach the extension tube to the handle Insert the large opening of extension
tube into the handle.
When detach, grasp the extension tube and handle, then pull out the extension
tube.
Push the button on the extension tube and extend the lower tube to desired
length. Please keep the extension
tube away from your face when extending the tube to avoid injury.|
Attach the extension tube to the floor nozzle Insert the end opening of the
extension tube to the floor nozzle. If needed, you may hook the floor brush at
the back of the main body.
When cleaning carpets, press the pedal on the floor nozzle to hide the brush.
When cleaning floor, press the pedal on the floor nozzle to extend the brush.
To detach, grasp the floor nozzle and the end of extension tube, then pull the
extension tube out.|
Crevice nozzle with brush Attach the crevice nozzle to the end opening of
extension tube.
Function: For cleaning corners, stairs and furniture gaps etc.|
Small nozzle Attach the small nozzle to the end opening of the extension tube.
Function: For cleaning furniture, curtains, photo frame and
bookshelf etc.|
Operation Instructions

Before use, make sure all the necessary accessories are attached properly and the suction power regulator is at the “Min” position.

Carefully pull out the power cord to suitable length. Insert the plug to the power socket.
(Note: The yellow mark indicates the ideal cord length for usage. Never pull over the red mark on the power cord.) -
After connected to power, press the power button “ ” on the main body to switch on the vacuum cleaner. Turn the suction power regulator towards “Max” position to increase the suction power, or turn towards “Min” to reduce the suction power. In another way, user can adjust the suction power by using the manual air valve on the handle. Open the manual air valve by pushing it down. The wider it is opened, the less the suction power and vice versa.
※ Tips: Minimum suction power – to clean delicate materials such as curtain or fabric etc.
Medium suction power – to clean carpet or furniture etc.
Maximum suction power – to clean tile or wooden floor. -
After use, press the power button “ ” on the main body to switch off the vacuum cleaner. Grasp the plug tightly and then press the cord rewind button, the cord will auto rewind to the main body.
※ There may be a “whistling” sound at start when the motor is activated, this is normal and the sound will go away after a time.
※ If the power cord cannot be fully rewound, pull out the cord a little bit and press the cord rewind button again.
Troubleshooting

brush, hose or accessories.| Remove the blockage and always
keep the openings free of blockage.
The front cover of main body cannot be closed.| There is no dust bag in the
vacuum
cleaner or it is installed improperly.| Re-install the dust bag.
If the appliance still does not work with the solutions above, please stop using immediately and contact Shun Hing Electric Service Centre Limited for checking and maintenance.

Any defect part which has been replaced shall become our property. Guarantee service does not cover the repair or replacement of consumable parts etc. -
