ATTENTION BEFORE USE
- Please use the original car charger.
- Before installation, please insert the U3-level speed TF (Micro SD) card purchased from official channels, the capacity is not less than 32GB. and the maximum capacity is 256GB.
- Please make sure the bandages are completely stuck into the buckle for stable installation.
- Please tear off the lens’ and screen’s protective film before installation to get the quality video.
- Please adjust the direction of the camera and make sure it’s horizontal and parallel to the ground.
- Be sure to format the TF (Micro SD) card when you power on the product and insert the TF (Micro SD) at the first time.
- For a better product experience, please format the TF (Micro SD) card once a month after saving the important videos/photos.
- The Time-lapse function needs to install the ACC step-down cable (not included) to activate it If necessary, you can consult customer service to recommend a purchase.
- Please do not explore the dash cam to the sun or the environment with temperatures over S0°C for a long time, especially in summer, since it will swell the battery and damage the dash cam.
- Please wipe gently with the included cleaning cloth while cleaning. Do not clean the dash cam with water or liquids containing chemicals.
- The product is mainly used for recording emergencies. Please choose professional recording equipment if you want to record long-distance videos.

INSTALLATION GUIDE
Install dash cam

Turn off your car’s engine.
-
Plug the TF(Micro SD) card into card slot of dash cam according to the direction shown in following picture. Hereinafter referred to as TF card.
Note: Please use the U3-level speed TF card (not included in this product) purchased from official channels, the capacity is not less than 32GB. the TF card supports a maximum of256G. and the format is FAT32. -
Fix one end of the strap to the upper end of the dash cam’s back clip fixing hook.

Fix the dash cam on the original rear-view mirror of the car through the strap, and fix the other end of the strap to the lower buckle of the fixing hook of the back clip.

Plug car charger into car’s cigarette lighter.

Plug the USB connector of car charger’s extended cable into the USB port of dash cam.
Note: It’s suggested to arranging the car charger’s extended cable along the edge of car’s windshield.
Install the rear camera
Please check the rear camera orientation on the display first to avoid
installation upside down.
- Connect the red wire of the rear camera to the taillight of the car (for reversing image).
- Insert the end of the rear camera cable with the AV-OUT port into the AV-IN rear camera interface of the dash cam.
- Use screws to fix the rear camera on the top of the rear license plate.
- The red wire of the rear camera is used for reversing assist.
Put the vehicle in reverse, then find the wire for the backup light, and connect the red wire to the positive side of the power supply for the backup light.
After successfully connected, when you reverse the car. it will display the reversing assist line on the dash cam screen.
Reminder: If it is difficult to assemble by yourself, you can choose 45 shop for assembly.
Install CPS
Insert the GPS plug into the GPS port of the dash cam to use the GPS function.
Please make sure that the side with the GPS text is facing up to better
receive the signal.
Tips:
- After confirming that the machine has been installed correctly, start the car, and the dash cam will automatically turn on after connecting to the power supply. If the TF card is not inserted in advance, the screen will prompt: TF card not detected.
- When inserting TF card for the first time, please format it according to the on-screen instructions. After formatting, the dash cam will automatically start recording.
- Adjust the lens position according to the recording direction of the screen, which can be adjusted by sliding up and down on the left side of the screen, or the direction of the mechanical front camera to ensure that the recording angle reaches the best position.
- When using it for the first time, please set the system first, select the corresponding settings, and start using it after achieving the best effect.
PRODUCT FEATURES
Power on and off
Automatic power on| After the car is started. it will start the automatic boot
recording.

Note: The dash cam will prompt “Low battery, please charge the dash cam” when the battery is low, and then automatically power off.
Loop Recording
- When power on, the dash cam will automatically start recording video.
- During recording, tap the record video icon to stop recording; tap the icon again to start recording.
Illustrate:
If the TF card is full. the latest recorded video will replace the earliest
recorded loop recording video. It is recommended to download and save
important videos regularly to prevent the video from being replaced.
Take photos
Click “photo· icon on the main interface, and then hear a “click” sound,
indicating that the photo is completed.
Video and audio
When recording is turned on. sound will be recorded during the dash cam
recording process. This feature is enabled by default.
Turn on/off:
- On the recording page, click the “microphone· icon to turn off the video and sound recording, and click again to turn it on.
- Setting page: Click “Recording Audio” to set “On/OfP’ for video sound.
Reversing image
The rear camera supports the reversing image. If the reversing camera is
connected to the reversing light, the dash cam will automatically switch to
the reversing image screen after the reverse gear is engaged. For
installation. please refer to “Install the rear camera step 4”.
Video/photo file reading
How to read video/photo files
- Read videos/photos on the dash cam.
- Click “Video Album” icon on the main interface to enter the video/photo list. You can choose to view the front view loop video, forward view photo, front view emergency video, rear view loop video. rear view photo. and rear view emergency video on the left side of the screen. Videos and photos can be deleted on this list.
- Please stop recording first if System settings and video/photo file viewing cannot be performed for recorded videos, and then perform system settings and video/photo file viewing.
- After the mobile phone is connected to the Wifi. use the APP to view and manage.
- Take out the TF card, insert the card reader, insert the card reader into the computer to read the video/photo.
- Connect the USB cable to the computer for viewing (USB cable not included).
Reset function
When the product crashes due to improper operation, you can press the reset
button with a pin. and the device will restart and return to normal.
Battery function description
The built-in battery function of this dash cam is to supply power for 1-Ss
after the car is turned off for saving video and parking monitoring. It cannot
be used as power supply for boot recording alone.
Parking guard
This dash cam supports parking guard. After the vehicle is turned off and the
vehicle vibrates (with the use of G-sensor), it will automatically turn on the
video and save it in the emergency video. This function can only be used
successfully when the battery has powered. After starting the car again, the
dash cam will automatically enter the loop recording mode.
Description of emergency recording duration:
- If your car is powered on, the emergency recording duration will be the same as the loop recording duration;
- If your car is turned off and the car is powered off, the emergency recording time is 30 seconds, and it will automatically shut down after 30 seconds of recording.
Notice:
- When your vehicle is powered off without interruption, parking guard will consume the battery power of the car. It is recommended to use this function with caution, so as not to leave the car charger for a long time without driving, causing the car charger to lose power and fail to start.
- Parking guard function needs to be used with G-sensor.
CPS function
When the optional GPS module is connected, the display shows the current speed
of the car. You can enter the settings menu and check the status of the GPS
signal. Speed units KM/H and MP/H are optional.
- The displayed speed is the average speed and time calculated from the position. Inaccuracies may occur, especially at low speeds, the data is for reference only.
- When GPS is connected, the dash cam can record real-time GPS coordinates in video files. These can be played through a custom GPS player.
- GPS playback requires custom player GX Player. (Contact Seller Support to get it; Windows OS only.)

Step 1:
The dash cam is connected to GPS, when you need to view the video. take out
the TF card. insert it into the computer with a card reader, access “My
Computer” on the computer and find the external storage.
Step 2:
Double-click the “gpsplayer.exe” application and follow the prompts to install
it to your computer.

Step 3:
Go back to the external storage, select the video file you want to play, and
choose “GX Player”.
Step 4:
Click on the top right corner for player settings.
Step 5:
Tap again to exit settings.
Step 6:
Click the folder below to select a video from external storage to play it. GPS
data for the selected video will be displayed on the right.
Voice control(Asr)
- This dash cam supports voice control for simple operations, and the voice control function is turned on by default.
- From the home page, use the following fixed voice commands to wake up the product

WIFI function
This machine has built-in WIFI. which supports real-time viewing and video
using the APP after connecting to the WiFi recorder with a smartphone.
Download the APP:
- For iOS system, please search for “Road Cam” in the APP STORE to download and install.
- For Android system. please search for “Road Cam” in Google play to download or scan the QR code to download and install.
Connect phone device to WiFi:
- Tap the “WIFI” icon on the home screen to turn on WiFi, and the screen displays the WiFi name and password.
- Open the phone settings and wireless network, search for the name of the dash cam’s WIFI, enter the password and connect (if you need to change the password, please go to the APP settings to modify).
- After the connection is successful, you can view or save the video in real time. review it and file management on the APP.
Note:
When the mobile phone is connected to the WIFI of the dash cam, the mobile
phone cannot access data at the same time.
SYSTEM MENU SETTINGS
Click the “System Settings” icon on the main interface to enter the settings menu. which can be set according to your needs.
Resolution
- The front video recording resolution is 4K (38402160P)/2K (25601440P)/l 080P (1920*1080P). The higher the resolution, the clearer the recording video.
- The front camera resolution default is 4K(3840*2160P).
- Rear camera fixed resolution is 2560*1440P.
Loop Recording
Each video recording duration: l minute, 3 minutes, 5 minutes optional, the
default is 3 minutes.
Time-Lapse
The time-lapse video recording needs to be activated by installing a step-down
cable. It is turned off by default. It can be selected from l second, 2
seconds. or 3 seconds. If you need to use it. please refer to the “step-down
cable installation tutorial” in the “Special Function Description”. If the
step-down cable is not installed . this function cannot be activated
.
Recording Audio
Used to record sound while recording video, enabled by default.
Datestamp
When enabled, the time datestamp will be displayed on the recorded video/photo
file, enabled by default.
Collision Sensitivity/C-Sensor
After it is turned on, the recorder will record a video urgently when the car
collides. If the setting is turned off, emergency recording will not be
performed in the event of a collision. Collision sensitivity defaults to high.
Note:
When the car is powered on, the crash emergency recording duration is the same
as the loop recording setting: when the car is powered off and the recorder is
turned off, the crash emergency recording duration is 30s.
License
You can choose whether to display the license plate number in the recorded
video. If you choose ON, you need to set the license plate number. Default is
off.
Auto Power Off
When the dash cam has no memory card or is not in the process of recording, it
will auto power off at the set time, the default is OFF,
Screen Saver
After this function is turned on, the dash cam will turn off the screen
backlight within the set time. At this time, the recording function is normal,
Tap anywhere on the screen or tap the power button to wake up. Default 3
minutes.
Power Frequency
The default value of this function is S0Hz and 60Hz. Default is 60Hz
,
USBMode
- Use an USB cable to connect to the computer, after a short press of the power button, the dash cam will automatically pop up the USB settings, you can choose USB storage or USB charging,
- USB storage: read the data of the memory card and access video files,
- USB charging: can charge the dash cam. The default is USB charging,
Back Mirror
The rear camera can be mirror adjusted. Default is ON.
Speaker
It is used to adjust the volume of power on/off, operation prompt, and video
external’s volume. The default is high.
Boot Sound
The music of the boot interface, the default is ON.
Key Sound
Sound during touch screen operation, the default is ON.
Language
The dash cam is selected from the language system, the default is English, the
optional EN, FR. DE, IT, ES, JP, CN (Simplified Chinese1 CN (Traditional
Chinese).
Date/time
Select to enter the date and time. the date and time will be displayed on the
screen home page and video/photo after setting.
Format memory card
Format TF card( It is recommended to format every 15 days or so): When there
are too many locked videos, it is used to delete the recorded videos and
photos in the TF card at one time after the memory card is full.
Note:
When the car is powered on. the crash emergency recording duration is the same
as the loop recording setting; when the car is powered off and the recorder is
turned off. the crash emergency recording duration is 30s.
Default
When the settings are chaotic. you can choose to default. and all settings
will be restored to the factory defaults.
DISPLAVINC CONTENTS ON SCREEN AND QUICK OPERATION DISPLAYING CONTENTS ON
SCREEN
- Display license plate number.
- Click the icon to open/ to off the recorder WiF, the screen displays the WiF name and password, download the APP on the mobile phone.after connection. you can view and download videos/pictures in real time.
- Click the icon to turn on/ to turn off sound recording function.
- Click the icon to take photos.
- Click the icon to manually start/ to end recording.
- Click the icon to enter settings.
- Click the icon to enter video/photo list. and you can watch or delete these videos/photos.
- Click the icon to lock the video.
- After connecting to CPS, the current speed is displayed, KM/H or MP/H can be set in the menu.
- Indicate the current battery status, the icon showing lightning indicates that it has been connected to the power supply, the icon showing the power level means that it is not connected to the power supply, and the remaining battery power is displayed.
- CPS signal status icon.
- Indicate that “G-sensor” function is activated.
- Indicate that “Parking Guard” function is activated.
- Time and date.
- Indicate the recording resolution of the front camera.
- Indicate the duration of the currently recorded video.
- After the driving recorder starts recording. it will display the loop recording status. The red dot flashes for loop recording; the yellow dot flashes for emergency recording; if there is no flash, the recording is not in progress.
QUICK OPERATION
Switch View
On the video recording interface. swipe the screen to the left to switch
between the front. rear, and front and rear views at the same time.
Visual Adjustment
On the left side of the video recording interface, swipe up and down the
screen to adjust the angle of the camera’s upper and lower viewing angles.
Screen Brightness Adjustment On the right
Side of the video recording interface. slide the screen up and down to adjust
the screen brightness.
Quick view video/photo
In the video recording interface. swipe the screen to the right to quickly
enter the file management
After entering. the following page will be displayed:
- Click the thumbnail on the left side of the screen to play the viewed video/photo on the right side.
- Click the button to filter video/photo types.
- Front-view normal video includes loop video and time-lapse video recorded by the front-view camera.
- Front view photo contains photos taken by the front view camera.
- Forward-looking emergency video includes lockout video recorded by the front camera in the event of a driving or parking collision. as well as lockout video recorded manually by tapping “lock “.
- Rear view normal video contains the video recorded by the rear view camera.
- Rear view photos contain photos taken by the rear view camera.
- Rear view emergency video includes lock video recorded by the rear camera in the event of a driving or parking collision, and lock video recorded manually by tapping “lock “.
- Delete video/photo: After clicking . select the video/photo you want to delete, click again to delete.
- Delete all: Click the file selection box shows that the file has been selected, click the file to deselect a single file, and then click to delete.
Notice:
- Deleted files cannot be recovered. Please back up important files in advance.
- You can also view/delete files on the PC: Take out the TF card from the recorder, insert it into the card reader and then insert it into the computer to view and delete files on the computer.
DESCRIPTION OF SPECIAL FUNCTIONS
Time-lapse Recording
- This product supports the time-lapse recording function, which needs to be activated with a step-down wire (not included i Please purchase the wire first by yourself or via the recommendation of customer service, you can buy the general three-wire step-down wire, and install the wire according to content in the following part (Connection Diagram of Stepdown Wire). It’s suggested to installing it in a 45 store. After installation. set specifications according to the content in the following part (Step-down Wire Settings).
- The principle of time-lapse recording: Time-lapse recording refers to compress the long video to small memory, reducing memory usage.
Note:
If the connection of the ACC step-down line is not detected, the function
cannot be activated even if the setting is enabled in the menu.
CONNECTION DIAGRAM OF STEP-DOWN WIRE
Connecting Instructions of Step-down Wire:
The step-down wire has 3 leads as B+/ACC/GND.
- “B+” lead must be connected to car’s 12V power supply which refers to the power supply of 12V output after unplugging the car key.
- “ACC” lead must be connected to the power supply of 12V output after car is started.
- “GND” lead must be connected to car’s ground wire.
Note:
The connections of”B+” and “ACC” leads should both be correct, otherwise the
functions of parking monitoring and time-lapse recording can’t be enabled.
Menu Settings
- After connecting to the ACC step-down wire, find “time-lapse recording” in the system settings and turn it on to select ls/ frame, Zs/frame, 3s/frame. After the setting is successful, it will automatically enter time-lapse recording when the vehicle is turned off.
- Time-lapse recording is disabled by default: l s/1 frame, Zs/1 frame, 3s/l frame.
Note:
- If you have enabled the “Time-lapse Recording· function, the “Parking Monitoring” function can’t be used. After each timelapse recording is set. the function usage time is 24 hours after the car is turned off. After 24 hours, the recorder will automatically exit the time-lapse recording function and shut down. The next time you use it, you need to reset it. If the parking monitoring function is enabled in the system settings, it will automatically enter the parking monitoring mode.
- If your car is equipped with uninterrupted power supply, the parking monitoring will consume the battery power, so it’s suggested to using this function discreetly, in case it might drain out your car battery.
