LED Indicators
The LED indicators give you instant feedback on the status of the converter
DIP switch
The DIP-switch is used to configure operation mode for LLF (Link Lost Forwarding) and operation mode for UTP/Fiber port. The default value of DIP switch is OFF.

Installation Guidelines
The installation environment for the media converter must meet the following requirements
- The media converter must avoid direct sunlight, away from heat and sources of strong electromagnetic interference.
- The media converter must be placed in a cool, dry place, and there should be enough gap for heat dissipa1ion all around for the purpose of ven1ilation and heat dissipation.
- The media converter must work in the indoor environment with a temperature of O”C-50″C and humidity of 10%-90% without condensation.

- Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room into a warm one. This can cause condensation to form, which may lead to irreparable damage. Allow the product to reach room temperature before connecting it and putting it to use. This may take several hours.
