Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Targus Ergo M-Pro Mobile Stand for Notebooks. The Ergo M-Pro is a compact, lightweight ergonomic notebook stand. It has multiple tilt positions to hold the notebook in a vertical position and allows the notebook LCD to be used as the display while being positioned higher relative to eye level.

The Ergo M-Pro incorporates a patent-pending document holder. This document holder is designed to create a functional workspace with an optimal viewing distance between documents, screen and keyboard. When not in use, the Ergo M-Pro collapses into a relatively flat product, which then can be packed away easily for extended stays outside of the office.

To use the Stand

1. Open the stand and pivot the document holder completely towards you. The notebook support will be lifted up.
2. Place the adjustment rod at the back of the notebook support into one of the slots (six possible positions).
3. Check that the stand is assembled correctly and carefully place your notebook on as shown.
4. Raise the document holder to the front of the notebook. Attach your external mouse and keyboard and you’re ready to work efficiently and ergonomically.

Ergonomic Guidelines

The following guidelines will help you to create a comfortable and ergonomic working environment.

1. Adjust the armrest of your chair so that it is level with the height of the table or keyboard. In this position, your shoulders should be relaxed.
2. Adjust the screen distance (usually between 50 – 90cm) so that you can comfortably read the display.
3. Angle the screen so that it is vertical (90-degree angle to your line of sight).
4. Ensure the top of the screen is at eye level or just below.
5. When working with documents, use the in-line document holder between the screen and the keyboard.
