FIRST TIME SETUP

1. On your Android device, download the app from the app store. Search `Te Pari T1 Weigh App’.

2. The first time you use the Te Pari T1 Weigh App you will need to establish communication between
   your device and the scale. To do this, power on the T1 Scale and search for Wi-Fi connections on your device. You will see a new network called ` T1 Scale ‘ -­ use the password TPP00T30 to connect.

3. Te Pari Revolution Drench Gun setup: MENU>EDIT WIFI>TE PARI SCALE>T1 WEIGH APP

4. Upon opening the app, you will be prompted with several permission requests: Location, Media Access and Do Not Disturb. You must allow these permissions, or the app will not run.

5. Stick reader connect: This setup differs depending on the make and model of your stick reader. The main functions are to set the stick into Master Bluetooth mode, then from your phone connect the reader to the T1 Scale. If you are using a Te Pari IST7 connect to device AWR300. Password if prompted for Te Pari IST7 Stick Reader is: 1234 OR 0000. (If the EID does not transmit to the app, ensure that the output format on the stick reader is NLIS and Online Mode is set to ON).

6. Ensure Scale Setup is filled out. This is accessed by the cog icon in the top right corner of the app
   a) Enabling sound will cause the device to beep when an animal has left the weigh scales and is recorded
   b) Setting Animal ID Required to YES’ will net record any weights if no EID tag is present, and the screen will not go green to show you that the animal can be released if an EID tag is not read (select this option is 100% of your animals have EID tags) c) Select the animal type you weigh d) If you’re recording EID tags turn EID on e) Set weighing speed: the faster you set it, the faster the scale will lock onto a weight but it will be slightly less accurate. We recommend setting it toNORMAL’ and adjusting if necessary.
   f) Select your loadbar type. To weight on a Te Pari Crush with Te Pari loadbars, select `T4000′
   g) Select you weight unit of measurements
   h) Set reweigh threshold and relock percentage to 50% and 40% respectively, as shown.

PERIODIC USAGE

CONNECTIONS

Upon opening the app, you will be presented with a panel to connect to the Scale, Drench Gun & EID reader (if applicable). Simple tap on each device icon as necessary and they will show as `CONNECTED’. You can now press CLOSE.

START A WEIGH SESSION

a) Set what you wish to name the given weigh session. The date is automatically set as todays date.
b) If you are going to deliver a treatment with your Te Pari Revolution Drench Gun select `Yes’.

DOSING SESSION SETUP

If you have responded YES to a dosing session, you will be presented the screen below.

a) Select your type of treatment you are applying to the animals.
b) Record the drench name.
c) You can record the value of the dose/litre.
d) Record product batch number if you wish.
e) Record the withholding period.
f) If you are delivering calibrated dosage amounts, set the dose rate here.

WEIGH SESSION

a) Always zero the scale before you begin weighing.
b) Weight readout is displayed here. To reweigh the current animal double tap the weight display. When a weight is stable and a EID tag has been read (if applicable) the screen will highlight in green to show you are good release the animal.
c) Press to finish the weigh session, see page 9.
d) To save a VID number against a EID, firstly the correct EID number is present in the EID field. Then type the VID into the VID field. When you release the animals, the VID will automatically be saved and will show when the animals EID is scanned in the future.
e) You can save one comment against an animal.

SESSION DETAILS

Animal EID, VID, WEIGHT & TREATMENTS as weighed in the current session will show here.

STATISTICS

A summary of animal weights will display here to show: tally of animals weighed, total (combined) weight of all animals, max weight of a single animal, Min weight of a single animal, average weight of the animals in the weigh session.

FINISH SESSION

Upon finishing the session, you will be presented with a final summary of the session statistics.

a) Backup data. This is an optional subscription of $10 NZD/month. This saved your data in our cloud system, in the case your devices is lost we can retrieve this data and load onto your new device.
b) You can email the session details in the CSV Excel file.
