Product Information

Product Usage Instructions

  • Chapter 1: Before Using the Appliance

If you need to replace the bulb, unplug the fridge, remove the cover of the box using a screwdriver, replace with amaximum 15 Watt bulb, install the cover, wait for 5 minutes before re-plugging, and adjust the thermostat back to its original position. Safety warnings

  • Do not place explosive or flammable material in your fridge. Place drinks with high alcohol content vertically in the fridge compartment and make sure that their tops are tightly closed.

Installing and Operating your Fridge
Before starting to use your fridge, you should pay attention to the following points:

  • Operating voltage for your fridge is 220-240 V at 50Hz.
  • Before using your fridge, please call the nearest Authorised service for help with the installation, operation and usage of your fridge.
  • We do not accept responsibility for any damages that occur due to ungrounded
  • Place your fridge where it will not be exposed to direct 50Hz.
  • Your appliance should be at least 50 cm away from stoves, gas ovens and heater cores, and at least 5 cm away from electrical ovens.

Before Using your Fridge

  • Your fridge may have a smell when it is operated for the first time. This is normal and the smell will fade away when your fridge starts to cool.

CHAPTER 2.  USAGE INFORMATION

Thermostat Setting

Larders (coolers) do not have a freezer compartment but can cool below 5°C.

  • The thermostat automatically regulates the inside temperature of the refrigerator. By rotating the knob from position « 1 » to « 5 », colder temperatures can be obtained
  • The « » position shows that the thermostat is closed and no cooling is available.
  • For short-term storage of food in the refrigerator compartment, you can set the knob between minimum and medium (1-3)
  • For long-term storage of food in the refrigerator compartment, you can set the knob to medium (3-4)
  • NOTE : the ambient temperature, temperature of the freshly stored food and how often the door is opened, affects the temperature in the refrigerator compartment. If required, change the temperature setting.
  • Larders (coolers) do not have a freezer compartment but can cool below 5°C.
  • When you first switch on the appliance, allow it to operate for 24 hours continuously to cool down to the correct temperature.

CHAPTER 3.  ARRANGING FOOD IN THE APPLIANCE

  • To reduce humidity and the consequent increase in frost, never place liquids in unsealed containers in the fridge compartment. Frost tends to concentrate in the coldest parts of the evaporating liquid and in time will more frequent defrosting will be required.
  • Never place warm food in the fridge compartment. Warm food should be allowed to cool at room temperature and should be arranged to ensure adequate air circulation in the fridge compartment.
  • Nothing should touch the back wall of the appliance as it will cause frost and packaging to stick to it. Do not open the fridge door too frequently.
  • Arrange meat and cleaned fish (wrapped in packages or sheets of plastic) which you intend to use in 1-2 days, in the bottom section of the fridge compartment..
  • Store fruit and vegetable items loose in the crisper containers

To avoid contamination of food, please respect the following instructions:

  • Opening the door for long periods can cause a significant increase of the temperature in the compartments of the appliance.
  • Clean regularly surfaces that can come in contact with food and accessible drainage systems.
  • Store raw meat and fish in suitable containers in the refrigerator, so that it is not in contact with or drip onto other food.
  • Two-star frozen-food compartments are suitable for storing pre-frozen food, storing or making ice cream and making ice cubes.
  • One-, two- and three-star compartments are not suitable for the freezing of fresh food.
  • If the refrigerating appliance is left empty for long periods, switch off, defrost, clean, dry, and leave the door open to prevent mould developing within the appliance.

CHAPTER 4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Disconnect the unit from the power supply before cleaning.
  • Do not clean the appliance by pouring water.
  • Make sure that no water enters the lamp housing and other electrical components.
  • The refrigerator should be cleaned periodically using a solution of bicarbonate of soda and lukewarm water.
  • Clean the accessories separately with soap and water Do not clean them in the dishwasher.
  • Do not use abrasive products, detergents or soaps. After washing, rinse with clean water and dry carefully. When you have finished cleaning, reconnect the plugto the mains supply with dry hands.
  • Clean the condenser with a broom at least twice a year. This will help you to save on energy costs and increase productivity.

Defrosting

  • Defrosting occurs automatically in the refrigerator compartment during operation; the water is collected by the evaporation tray and evaporates automatically.
  • The evaporation tray and the water drain hole should be cleaned periodically with the defrost drain plug to prevent the water from collecting at the bottom of the refrigerator instead of flowing out.
  • You can also clean the drain hole by pouring 1/2 glass of water down it.

Replacing The Bulb

To replace the bulb in freezer and fridge departments;

  1. Unplug your fridge.
  2. Remove the cover of the box from the claws using a screwdriver.
  3. Replace with a bulb of maximum 15 Watts.
  4. Install the cover.
  5. Wait for 5 minutes before re-plugging and bring the thermostat to its original position.

Replacing LED Lighting
If your refrigerator has LED lighting contact the help desk as this should be changed by authorized personnel only.

CHAPTER 5. TRANSPORTATION AND CHANGING OF INSTALLATION POSITION

Transportation and Changing of Installation Position

  • The original packages and foamed polystyrene (PS) can be retained if required.
  • During transportation, the appliance should be secured with a wide string or a strong rope. The instructions written on the corrugated box must be followed while transporting.
  • Before transporting or changing the installation position, all the moving objects (ie, shelves,crisper…) should be taken out or fixed with bands in order to prevent them from getting damaged.

Carry your fridge in the upright position.

Repositioning the door

  • It is not possible to change the opening direction of your refrigerator door, if the door handle on your refrigerator is installed from the front surface of the door.
  • It is possible to change the opening direction of the door on models without any handles.
  • If the door opening direction of your refrigerator may be changed, you should contact the nearest Authorised Service Agent to have the opening direction changed.

CHAPTER 6. BEFORE CALLING SERVICE

If your refrigerator is not operating as expected, check the solutions listed below before calling an electrician or the after sales service.

What to do if your refrigerator does not operate:

Check that:

  • Your fridge is plugged in and switched on,
  • The fuse is not blown and there is not a power cut,
  • The thermostat setting is in the on « » position,
  • The socket is no longer functioning. To check this, plug in an appliance that you know is working into the same socket.

What to do if your refrigerator performs poorly:

Check that:

  • You have not overloaded the appliance,
  • The doors are fully closed,
  • There is no dust on the condenser,
  • There is enough space for air circulation at the rear and side of the

If the appliance is making a noise:
The cooling gas that circulates in the refrigerator circuit may make a slight noise (bubbling sound) even when the compressor is not running. This is normal. If these sounds are different check that:

  • The appliance is level,
  • Nothing is touching the rear of the appliance,
  • Items on or in the appliance are vibrating

If there is water in the lower part of the refrigerator:

Check that:

The drain hole for the defrost water is not clogged (use thedefrost drain plug to clean the drain hole).

If your fridge is not cooling enough;

Recommendations

  • To increase space and improve the appearance, the « cooling section » of refrigerators is positioned inside the back wall of the refrigerator When the appliance is running, this wall is covered with frost or water drops when the compressor is running. Fixing the appliance to the wall

Note: This fixing part should be used for in the case of , the appliance is out off balance when then the inside of the appliance is fully empty but the door shelves are full with stuffs.

For usage please follow the below instructions

  1. Check the kit to locate the following parts.
  2. Prepare a star-tip screwdriver for fixing the screws.
  3. Prepare a driller for making hole to the wall.
  4. Put the refrigerator, where you will use it.
  5. Refer the holes, which has been drilled before on the top of the refrigerator, and mark the hole places on the wall.
  6. Drill the holes on the wall with Ø 6 mm.
  7. Put screw grommet (Part no: 1) in to the hole.
  8. Assemble the fixing part (no: 2) to the wall by using the plastic screw (part no:3)
  9. With the screw M4 (Part no: 4) assemble the fixing bracket to the refrigerator.
  10. If your appliance is Tropical class then fix Screw M4 to the “T” hole on the bracket; if your appliance is Normal class the fix Screw M4 to the “N” hole on the bracket.
  11. Do the same actions to the 2nd fixing part.
