INSTALLATION
STEP 1 – Latch Installation

Prepare door using fitting template supplied and install deadlatch in the correct orientation to the doors opening and closing.

STEP 2 – Handing

Set up your lever handle direction to suit your door.

STEP 3 – External Lever Installation

Assembly

  • Insert threaded post screw into plate slot and secure threaded post
  • Secure bottom threaded post
  • Insert spindle into spindle hub and secure with split pin.
  • Fit rubber gasket to escutcheon

Installation

  • Insert spindle through latch spindle hub in deadlatch and cable through cable slot cut into door as shown in diagram below.
STEP 4 – Internal Lever Install

Backing Plate Install

  • Attach rubber gasket to internal plate
  • Place external cable clip through internal plate slot and secure plate by screwing M5x fixing screws into external lever threaded posts

Internal Lever – Install

  • Connect the internal lever cable clip to the external lever cable clip

  • Feed the excess cable through the plate slot and into the door cut-out

  • Place the attached clips into the battery casing slot.
    Ensure attached clips lay flat against the plate as not to interfere with the batteries

  • Attach Internal lever to plate using M3 Fixing screws

STEP 5 – Battery and Cover Installation

Internal Lever – Install Batteries

  • Insert batteries with positive and negative poles as marked on the battery casing.
  • Lock will activate when batteries are installed correctly. Keep door open at this point

  • Loop internal lever cover plate over handle and snap cover into place so it sits flush.
STEP 6 – Dustbox and Striker Plate Installation
  1. Deadlatch pin

Install strike plate so the dead latching pin is depressed behind strike plate when door is closed.

OPERATION
STEP 7 – System Initialisation

Remove the internal side cover plate exposing the reset button. Press for 5s and press “000#”. This should complete the initialisation process. Now a default code can be used as “123456#” This can be replaced by administrator further into the set up.

STEP 8 – Registration

Use the QR code to download the TTLock App. For iOS and android phones and other devices.

STEP 9 – Connect to your Mobile Device
  1. Please scan the QR code to download the app
  2. You can also search for TTLock in the APP store (Google Play) to download
  3. Register a new account (phone number or email) or login with an existing account.
  4. Touch the lock screen to light, click “+ Add Lock”
  5. The lock nearby will appear on the phone screen, Click “+”
  6. The lock name can be renamed. e.g. front door, office door etc.
  7. The lock added successfully

TTlock users can register the account by mobile phone and Email which currently support 200 countries and regions on the world. The verification code will be sent to user’s mobile phone or email, and the registration will be successful after the verification.

STEP 10 – Add Locks

TTLock supports multiple types of lock devices. The lock needs to be added by the app after entering the add mode. Generally, a lock that has not been added, as long as the lock keyboard is touched, it will enter the add mode. The default password is 123456 if not added by the phone.

STEP 11 – User Management

Bluetooth management

Make sure there is no problem with Bluetooth communication. After connecting the phone to the door lock as above, Click “ ” to unlock. (ensure mobile device is within 5 metres of door lock).

Setting Passcode

The initial passcode is generated in the app. Once the generated passcode is used it can then be changed to something that can be easily remembered by the user if required. Passcodes can be set as permanent, time limited, single use, custom or reoccurring. Passcodes can be shared to users via SMS, email, Messenger, WhatsApp and WeChat.

Send e-Key

Click on the “ ” as shown below, you can send the eKey to other users of TTlock to authorize the unlock (the receiver must be download the APP and set up an account)
→ Select e-key format (Timed, permanent, One-time, Recurring)
→ Enter recipient’s account of TTlock,set the name and effective time of the eKey, Can choose to allow remote unlocking or disallowing, authorized administrator or not authorized, as shown below

→ The recipient’s account has Bluetooth unlock permission

Add card

Supports opening doors through various IC cards. Before an IC card is used to open the door, it needs to be added first. The adding process needs to be performed by the app beside the lock. The validity period of the IC can be set, it can be permanent, or it can be limited in time.

Add fingerprint

Having the ability to add finger printers to unlock the door adds quick and easy access to your door lock. This process needs to performed using the App. (ensure mobile device is within 5 metres of the door lock) Fingerprints can be set as permanent, time limited, single use, custom or reoccurring.

e-Key management

Click “ ” The manager can delete ekey, reset ekey, send and adjust the ekey, meanwhile he can search the lock record.

Passcode management

Click “ ” All generated passwords can be viewed and managed in the password management module. This includes a password change, password deletion, password reset, and password unlock record.

STEP 12 – Privacy Function
  1. If you want to use the privacy functions this needs to be activated in the App in settings.
  2. When the button is in the red state, it is in the locked state and can only be unlocked through the administrator app or mechanical key.

STEP 13 – Gateway Management (Optional)

The DL700 in standard mode is connected via Bluetooth. Unless its connected to a network. The gateway is a bridge smart locks and home Wi-Fi networks. Through the gateway the user can remotely view and calibrate the lock clock, read the unlock records and remotely unlock the lock. It can also delete and modify passwords and other options via the gateway. This is again set up through the App.
Note that the lock only connects via the gateway using the home Wi-Fi signal of 2.4GHz. It cannot connect to 5GHz.

Light Status


  1. When the gateway is powered on:

– Light flashes alternately in red and blue: Stand-by mode, ready for pairing


    Blue light: Working mode


    Red light: Network failure


Pair the Gateway with APP


(1) Activate the APP

(2) Press “ ”

(3) Select [ Gateway ]

(4) Select [ G2 ]

(5) Plug in the gateway and power it on, while the light flashes alternately in red and blue

(6) Press “ + ” sign

(7) Add Gateway

(8) Select the network and fill in the password

(9) Add complete

Notice: If times out, please power off and try it again.

FAQ

Finger print and touch screen not working.| In this case, first check that the batteries have been installed in the correct positions. i.e. positive and negative are around the correct way. Check that the batteries are new and at full capacity.
Remove the back panel to check if the wire loom has been connected correctly and that no wires have been pinched or damaged.

Unable to register fingerprint| Check that the finger is clean and dry, also ensure that the finger reader is free of any moisture, oil or debris. This should be the case anytime when using your finger to operate the lock.
Failed Attempts| In the event that 5 attempts are unsuccessful the lock will be deactivated for 5 minutes. Plus, an alarm will sound notifying people in the vicinity that the lock has had unauthorised access.
Why do the batteries consume so much power?| If you encounter large power consumption it maybe an indication that you have a short circuit. Please check connectors and cables for damage.
How do I activate passage mode?| Passage mode needs to be switched on via the app under settings. You will need to select a day including as start and end time. Passage mode is activated only after the door has been unlocked during the passage mode period set.
What is Auto lock?| Auto lock allows you to set a time when the lock re- locks after it has been unlocked. This can be set for up to 60 seconds or as little and 5 seconds. This is controlled in the app.
Can I tell who has used the lock?| In the app there is an icon called records. This is where you can look at the history of the locks operations, by operator, time and date.
