PREPARATION
Before beginning assembly of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package contents list and hardware contents list. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble the product.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
- Before using or reusing, inspect product carefully. Discard any products that have cut, damaged or frayed wire insulation or cords, cracks in a lamp holders or enclosures, loose connections or exposed coper wire.
- When storing the product, carefully remove the product from wherever it is placed, including trees, branched or bushes, to avoid any undue strain or stress on the product conductors, connections and wires.
- When not use, store neatly in a cool, dry location protected from sunlight.
- Do not impact or drop the transformer. If plastic is broken, discard adaptor.
TO REPLACE A FUSE
- Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on cord.
- Open fuse cover. Slide open fuse access cover on top of attachment plug towards blades.
- Remove fuse carefully.
- Risk of fire. Replace fuse only with 3 Amp, 125 V fuse (provided with product).
- Close fuse cover. Slide closed the fuse access cover on top of attachment plug.
- Risk of fire. Do not replace attachment plug. Contains a safety device (fuse) that should not be removed. 2 Discard product if the attachment plug is damaged.

When using electrical products, basic precautions should always be followed
including the following:
- When using outdoor-use portable lighting products, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.
- When products are used in outdoor applications, connect the product to a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupting (GFCI) outlet. If one is not provided, contact a qualified electrician for proper installation.
- Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) protection should be provided on the circuits or outlet to be used for the outdoor-use flexible lighting product. Receptacles are available having built-in GFCI protection for this measure of safety.
- Use only outdoor extension cords, such as type SW, SOW, STW, STO W, SJOW, SJTW, or SJTOW. This designation is marked on the wire of the extension cord. ·
- Do not operate with the flexible light tightly coiled.
- Do not route the cord or flexible lighting through walls, doors, windows or any like part of the building structure.
- Do not use if there is any damage to the light or cord insulation. Inspect periodically.
- Do not submerge flexible light in liquids, or use the product in the vicinity of standing water or other liquids.
- Secure this flexible light using only the hangers or clips provided. Do not secure this product or its cord with staples, nails, or like means that may damage the insulation.
- To reduce the entry water. Do make sure that all connections and the end cap in the last segment are tightly secured.
- Do disconnected power before adding segments.
- This product has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) as a feature to reduce the risk of electric shock. This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fix, contact a qualified electrician. Do not use with an extension cord unless plug can be fully inserted. Do not alter or replace the plug.

CAUTION
TO REDUCE RISK OF FIRE AND ELECTRICAL SHOCK:
- Do not cover this product as the covering may cause the flexible light to overheat and melt or ignite.
- Do not subject flexible lighting to continuous flexing.
- Do not puncture, cut, shorten or splice the flexible lighting.
- Do not exceed the length in feet permitted by the marking. (found on the tag within 6 inches (15.24 cm) of the plug).
- Connect a Maximum 164 feet (49.9 m) together.

MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS

- Attach the mounting clips (CC) to the desired mounting surface using the screws (EE) or tie straps (DD)
- Install the rope lights into the mounting clips (CC).
REMOTE BATTERY CHANGE
For battery replacement pinch side tab and pull to open in the back of the remote. Replace only with CR2025-3 V battery.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR ADDING SEGMENTS
Disconnect power source before adding segments.

Rope Light A: Unscrew connecting nut and remove cap from end of rope light (female connector). Be sure that the O-ring stays in place. (The O-ring makes a water tight seal between sections of rope light).

Rope Light B: Unscrew connecting nut and remove power cord from the beginning of rope light (male connector).
- FEMALE CONNECTOR

Insert male connector (rope light B) to female connector (rope light A),
tighten connecting nut threads on male connector of rope light B.
Add an additional section of rope light to the end of rope light B, repeating
step 2 to 4.
WARNING: Be aware of the maximum number of extension segments shown on package that are able to be added. Make sure that all connections and the end cap on the last segment are tightly secured to preclude the entry of water. Use only extension segments recommended by the manufacturer.
