Product Information

The Laser Cap 272 PowerFlex is a hair growth laser light device designed to promote hair growth. It is manufactured by Lexington International, LLC and can be purchased from their website www.hairmax.com. The device comes with a controller/battery pack that needs to be charged before initial use.

Product Usage Instructions

Charging

Before initial use, charge the controller/battery pack for 10-12 hours.
Plug the small end of the power cord into the socket on the side of the controller/battery pack.
Plug the other end of the power cord into the USB socket of the power supply.
Plug the power supply into an electrical wall outlet.
The battery icon on the display of the controller/battery pack will flash during the charging process. Four full bars indicate a fully charged device.
Once charging is complete, disconnect the power cord from the controller/battery pack and store it for future charging.

Treatment Method

Ensure that the controller/battery pack is at least 50% charged before starting.
Place the laser cap on your head in a comfortable relaxed position. It can be worn by itself or inserted into your favorite sports cap (provided).
Press the on/off button to start the treatment. The timer will illuminate and countdown from 7:00 minutes to 00:00.
The laser indicator light on the controller/battery pack will indicate that the lasers are on and functioning properly.
Once the treatment is complete, the timer on the controller/battery pack will flash, display 00:00, and you will hear a double beep. The lasers will turn off.
If you choose to power off your device before the treatment is complete, press the on/off button for 3 seconds. You will hear the double beep and your device will power down.

Note: Before starting the treatment, it is recommended to test your skin for sensitivity by shining the light on the inside of your forearm for 2 minutes. If you observe any reaction, do not use the laser cap and contact customer service.

FOR MAXIMUM BENEFIT

Scalp should be freshly washed (hair can be wet, dry or damp)
Use your device prior to applying styling products (these can build up and impede the laser light)
Regularly clean your device with a slightly moistened cloth. Do not use harsh detergents or cleaning products on any part of your device

CHARGING
You must charge the controller/battery pack for 10-12 hours before initial use

Charge your laser cap by plugging the small end of the power cord into the socket on the side of the controller/battery pack.
ATTENTION ONLY UTILIZE THE PROVIDED CONTROLLER/BATTERY PACK WITH YOUR DEVICE. PLUGGING INTO ANY OTHER POWER SOURCE MAY DAMAGE YOUR DEVICE AND VOID YOUR WARRANTY

Plug the other end of the power cord into the USB socket of the power supply. Plug the power supply into an electrical wall outlet.

The battery icon on the display of the controller/battery pack will flash during the charging process. Four full bars indicate your device is fully charged.

4 bars = 100%
2 bars = 50% (time to recharge)
3 bars = 75%
1 bars = 25%

When charging is complete, disconnect the power cord from the controller/battery pack and store it for future charging.
Make sure your battery is charged properly. You should have a minimum of two bars on the battery indicator display.

Connect the controller cable (coming out of the back of the laser cap) to the USB socket on the side of the controller/battery pack.
You are now ready to start your treatment.
Your laser cap cannot be used while being charged.
Prior to treatment, test your skin for sensitivity by shining the light on the inside of your forearm for 2 minutes. If you see any reaction, do not use your laser cap and contact customer service.

Hairmax laser devices are indicated to promote hair growth in males with Androgenetic alopecia who have Norwood-Hamilton Classifications of Ila – V, and in females with Androgenetic alopecia who have Ludwig (Savin) Classifications I – II or frontal patterns of hair loss and who both have Fitzpatrick Skin Types I – IV.
