To install the AH12H12D3B unit, follow these steps:

Measure the wall opening dimensions and ensure they meet the minimum requirements of 16-1/4 inches in height and 42-1/4 inches in width.
Add 1/4 inch to both the A and C dimensions to account for all cut-outs in the wall.
Prepare the wall opening according to the measured dimensions.
Place the AH12H12D3B unit into the wall opening, ensuring a secure fit.
If using the electric heater function, connect the unit to a 230/208 volt power source using the provided line cord.
For proper operation of the electric heater, ensure that the circuit is rated for a minimum of 20 amps. Install a 20 amp time-delay fuse or breaker as the recommended protective device.
If using the heat pump function, connect the unit to a suitable power source.

ELECTRICAL WIRING

All wiring, including installation of receptacle, must be made in accordance with local electrical codes and regulations.
NOTE: Aluminum wiring may pose special problems – consult a qualified electrician.
