Product Usage Instructions
This product is suitable for various applications in industrial machinery and plant engineering in the USA. It can be used for unprotected 600V operation on cable trays, including 6 ft. exposed run laying sections for versions with at least 3 conductors. It is compliant with tool machines and wind turbine tray cable (WTTC) for wind turbine generators (WTG).
The product features include flame-retardant properties according to CSA FT4 UL Vertical-Tray Flame Test, oil-resistant properties according to UL OIL RES I & II, resistance to sunlight and ozone, and a high degree of screening with low transfer impedance. It is suitable for torsional applications typical for the loop in wind turbine generators.
The product is made up of a fine-wire strand made of bare copper wires, PVC insulation with nylon sheath (PA skin), aluminum-coated foil, and a specially formulated thermoplastic polymer outer jacket in gray color.
Technical data for the product includes classification under ETIM 5 and ETIM 6 as a control cable, conductor stranding of fine-wire, bare copper strand, torsion movement in WTG referred to in Appendix T0, minimum bending radius of 6 times the outer diameter, and nominal voltage of 600V (UL/CSA) and 1000V (WTTC).
The product is available in various article numbers with different outer diameters, copper index, and weight. The specific article number should be selected based on the requirements of the application.
