The blue light will work to alert you when the food supply is low. The light will turn on when the meal is almost gone.
Can I use a different bowl instead of the stainless steel one?****
You can use a plastic bowl in place of this stainless-steel bowl if you want.

Can various amounts be set for different times on the same day? 3/8 cup at night, 1/2 cup at midday, and 1/4 cup in the morning?****
Yes. There are six possible feeding periods that can each have a different dosage. Although it took some trial and error with my two cats to get the appropriate amounts. However, after you have the idea of establishing the times and amounts, it becomes simpler to modify and tweak it. If you want to feed your pet at irregular times, you can also undertake a manual feeding.
Does the bowl fit inside the device or does it simply rest on the ground? Can a cat unintentionally move it from the feeder?****
The metal bowl is held in place by a grey plastic holder. In this manner, it will be simple to wash the metal bowl. If it’s that kind of cat, a cat can pull the bowl away from the plastic holder. The food will then fall into the plastic container.
