INSTALLATION

Choose a location that meets these criteria:

  • The ground must be flat and stable
  • A distance of 50 cm between the walls and the appliance must be respected
  • The device must be plugged into a wall outlet which must remain accessible once the device is plugged in.
  • It is essential to connect the external exhaust for use in cooling mode or in dehumidification mode

Connection of the exhaust duct
Connection is mandatory for use in Cooling or Dehumidification mode, but not necessary in Ventilation mode.

The exhaust duct can be connected into a wall or installed to a window.

  1. Fix adaptor A (device connection) on the pipe
  2. Fix adaptor B (window connection) on the pipe if necessary
  3. Clip adaptor A onto the device
  4. Connect the hose to the outside outlet.

Install the Window Slider Kit (for sliding windows)

  1. Cut the adhesive foam seal D to the correct length and secure it to the window sash.

  2. Attach the window slider kit to the window sash. Adjust the length of the Window Slider Kit, then tight the screws. The length of the Window Slider Kit is 67.5cm to 120cm.

  3. Caulk the empty part between the two windows using the foam gasket E (non adhesive)

USE

Cooling Mode
In this mode, the exhaust hose must be connected to the outside of the home

  1. Press the button on the control panel or the ON/OFF button on the remote control to turn on the device
  2. Press the   button on the control panel several times to turn on the “Cool” indicator or press the COOL button on the remote control
  3. Adjust the setpoint temperature (desired temperature) using  buttons and .
  4. Press the button on the control panel several times or press the SPEED button on the remote control to set the fan speed to “Hi” (high speed), “Lo” (low speed) or “Auto” (speed adapted automatically)

Simultaneously press the and buttons on the control panel for 3 seconds, or press the button on the remote control to change the temperature display unit between °C (Degrees Celsius) and °F ( Degrees Fahrenheit)

Fan mode

  1. Press the button on the control panel or the button on the remote control to turn on the device
  2. Press button on the control panel several times to turn on the “Fan” indicator or press button FAN on the remote control
  3. Press button on the control panel several times or press button SPEED on the remote control to set the fan speed to “Hi” (high speed) or “Lo” (low speed)

The “Auto” speed and the temperature setting are not available in Ventilation mode.

Dehumidification mode (Dry)

  1. Press the button on the control panel or the button on the remote control to turn on the device
  2. Press button on the control panel several times to turn on the “Dry” indicator or press button DRY on the remote control

Fan speed and temperature adjustment are not available in Dehumidification mode

Automatic Mode (Auto)

In this mode, the device automatically determines the settings necessary to reach the set temperature.

  1. Press the button on the control panel or the button on the remote control to turn on the device
  2. Press button on the control panel several times to turn on the “Auto” indicator or press button AUTO on the remote control
    3 – Adjust the setpoint temperature (desired temperature) using buttons and .

Timer
The timer is used to start or stop the device after a time set between 0.5 h (30 min) and 24 h

Switch on the appliance with the timer

  1.  Switch on the appliance, choose the operating mode (Cool, Dry, Fan) and adjust the setpoint temperature and fan speed
  2. Press the button on the control panel or the button on the remote control to turn o the device
  3. Press the button on the remote control
  4. Set the time until the desired switch-on time using keys and (in number of hours)
  5. When the set time has elapsed, the air conditioner will turn on with the settings

Switch off the appliance with the timer

  1. Switch on the appliance, choose the operating mode (Cool, Dry, Fan) and adjust the setpoint temperature and fan speed
  2. Press the button on the remote control
  3. Set the time until the desired stop time using the and buttons (in number of hours)
  4. When the set time has elapsed, the air conditioner will turn o automatically

Sleep function

The Sleep function can be used in Cooling or Dehumidifier mode. This function provides a more comfortable environment for sleeping.

  1. Switch on the appliance, choose the operating mode (Cool, Dry) and adjust the setpoint temperature and the fan speed
  2. Press the button on the remote control to activate the Sleep function.
  3. The function is automatically deactivated after 8 hours of operation and returns to the previously set mode.

CARE

Cleaning the dust filter
It is advisable to clean the dust filter every 250 hours of use to promote proper air circulation and optimum performance of the air conditioner.

The filter cleaning indicator lights up after 250 hours of use

Open the rear of the device and remove the filter

Remove dust from the filter using a vacuum cleaner

For strong stains, use soapy water and dry before replacing the filter.

Press the button to reset the counter.

Cleaning of exterior parts
Use a soft, dry cloth. For strong stains, use a cloth dampened with soapy water and wipe immediately with a dry cloth.

Emptying the water tank
In cooling mode, the internal water tank must be emptied regularly. If the display shows “P1”, the tank must be emptied

Switch off the device and unscrew the lower cap

Bring the device above a container and remove the rubber cap

When the tank is empty, replace the rubber cap

Screw the cap back on and restart the appliance.

Replacing the remote control battery

  1. Remove the screw using a screwdriver

  2. Push the battery compartment flap to remove it.

  3. Insert 1 CR2032 / 3V battery in the compartment with the “+” facing up.

  4. Replace the battery compartment cover.

  5. Tighten the screw

Important

  • Do not let children play with the batteries
  • Do not ingest the batteries
  • Non-rechargeable batteries should not be recharged;
  • The battery must be inserted with the correct polarity (see diagram);
  • An old or leaking battery should be removed from the device and disposed of safely;
  • If the device will not be used for a long time, remove the battery;
  • The battery contacts must not be short-circuited;
  • The battery must be removed from the device before disposal.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem Causes, solutions
The device does not work Check the power supply. Check the fuse.
The remote control does not work Check the battery
The room is not cooled Check that the “Cooling” mode is active Check for good

air circulation at the inlet and outlet Check that the filter is clean and not clogged Check that the setpoint temperature is lower than the ambient temperature Check that the doors and windows are properly closed
The device vibrates abnormally| Check that it is installed on level and stable ground.
