Product Information

Initial operation and settings

Adjustable sight glasses as shown below improve viewing comfort:

1. Rotate the eyepiece focal ring counterclockwise to extend the eyepiece;
2. Rotate the eyepiece focal ring clockwise to shorten the eyepiece.
   • This product can still be used while wearing glasses.

Rechargeable lithium battery

You can charge this device with a USB charger. When the power is displayed as it should be charged in time, otherwise the ranging error will increase. Red light is on when charging, green light is on when fully charged.

Power on and off

1. Short press the “POWER” button to turn on the laser range finder;
2. It will be turned off automatically without any operation after 10 seconds.
   Note: If the device is equipped with Bluetooth communication function, and Bluetooth is turned on, the device will be turned off automatically without any operation after 40 seconds.

Unit switching
Long press the “MODE” button to switch the distance unit in meters (m) or yards (Yd).

Battery Life

1. The number of continuous measurements can reach more than 10,000 times (about 20’C);
2. Under different conditions, the number of measurements will be different. For example: the reflectivity of the measurement object is different or the ambient temperature is different.

Precautions

1. Do not touch the surface of the lens with your fingers, so as not to damage the film on the surface of the lens;
2. The rangefinder is precisely adjusted by the instrument, please do not disassemble it. If it is damaged, it should be sent to a special department for maintenance;
3. When the exposed glass lens is stained, please wipe it gently with a lens cleaning cloth. Do not use other objects to wipe it, so as not to damage the optical glass surface film;
4. When carrying or using, avoid a collision or heavy pressure, let alone bake or corrode;
5. Pay attention to moisture-proof when storing. It should be stored in a dry, cool and ventilated place to prevent direct sunlight, dust and sudden changes in temperature;
6.  In case of rain and fog, the round-trip time of the laser will be affected, which may increase the measurement error. When the rain and fog is very serious, it will lead to the deviation of the round-trip trajectory of the laser in the air, and even the measurement value error.

Mode switching (different models have different functions)

Short press the “MODE” key to switch to different modes. Before measuring, please adjust the focal length of the eyepiece so that the measured target can be clearly seen.

Distance mode
In this mode, short pressing the “POWER” button will display the actual distance, and there will be a vibration. Long press the “POWER” button to continuously scan, and at the same time, the actual distance will be displayed in real-time, and there will be vibration.

Flagpole Mode
In this mode, short press the “POWER” button to get the lock distance of the flagpole, and there will be a vibration at the same time.

Fog mode
In foggy weather, in this mode, the distance can be measured more effectively. Short press the “POWER” button will display the actual distance, and there will be a vibration.

Altimeter Mode
In this mode, short press the “POWER” button while aiming at the target, thedistance between the target and the rangefmder will be displayed, and the height (VD) and inclination angle of the target to the horizon of the rangefinder will be displayed at the same time.

Slope Mode
In this mode, a short press of the “POWER” button will display the actual distance value between the golf flagpole and the rangefmder, the slope value (angle) and the calculated golf recommended distance (when the SLOPE switch is turned on) .

Speed mode
In this mode, short press the “POWER” button at the target and move with the target to get the movement speed of the target, and there will be a vibration at the same time.

Bluetooth switch selection
In this interface, press the “POWER” button to choose whether to turn on the Bluetooth function, and the bluetooth symbol is displayed to indicate that the Bluetooth function is turned on.

Note: The range of the device is related to the nature of the measured target, the inclination of the emitted beam and the target surface, and weather visibility. Generally speaking, the target surface is smooth, bright, large in area, the beam is perpendicular to the target surface, and the weather is overcast. When the sky is clear of fog, it is farther, and vice versa.

Bluetooth communication function (optional)

The rangefinder with bluetooth communication function is equipped with mobile phone APP software, which can connect the rangefinder through the APP software to realize parameter measurement and data management. By downloading the “Rangefinder Bluetooth” APP software from the mobile phone application store or our official website, the corresponding download address is “https://www.bosean.net/download/“.

Note:

1. Before the device leaves the factory, the Bluetooth communication function is turned off by default, and can be turned on according to the operation method of “Bluetooth switch selection” above;
2. If the APP software does not search for the device, please check whether the Bluetooth of the device or mobile phone is turned on; if it is turned on, you can try to scan the device again or restart the APP software;
3. If you still can’t find the device after following “Step 2”, please check whether the location service of your phone is turned on.

Warning

• When emitting the laser, please do not stare at the emission hole!
• Looking at the sun through this device may cause permanent damage to the eyes!
• Do not use the device directly at the sun to avoid permanent damage to the internal components!
• Avoid direct sunlight to the eyepiece!
• Do not place the instrument under extreme temperature conditions that exceed the storage temperature of the instrument!
