Preparation and Installation
SD Card Insertion and Formatting
Please prepare a Class 10 TF card (micro SD card), maximum 64G, not included, insert it into the TF card slot, and format it before use. SD card out: Press down the SD card until you’ve heard an insertion sound. Then the SD card will pop out along with a pop sound. SD Formatting: When the Car Dash Cam is turned on, the screen may indicate “Format Micro card°. Please enter the menu settings, press the Up and Down buttons to select, press OK to begin to format, and press OK again to start recording.
Tips: The SD card must be formatted before use.
Product Installation
Camera Installation
Connect the camera with the Suction Cup firstly as the below picture shows, and check if it’s stable.
The installation steps, as shown below:
The car dash camera is mounted on the front windshield, then insert the car
charger into the cigarette lighter power hole.
Tips:
Before installation, please clean the suction cup and the front windshield.
Please adjust the camera lens to an appropriate angle before driving.
Operation Instruction
Camera Startup
Manual Startup
In the OFF state, press and hold the Power button to enter into the preview
mode.
Please confirm that the camera has enough power at this time.
Auto Startup
Insert the car charger to enter into video mode automatically, please press
the OK button to stop recording and into preview mode (Status: Micro SD card
inserted). Insert the car charger and enter into the preview mode
automatically
(Status: Micro SD card not inserted).
Red light – The camera is charging when the red light is on.
Blue light – The camera is recording when the blue light is flashing.
Mode Operation Instructions
Preview Mode
In the preview mode, short press the OK button to enter into video mode.
Video Mode
Start or Stop Video Recording In the video mode, short press the OK button to
start or stop recording.
Lock Video In the video mode, press the Lock button to manually lock the
current video. If it is a locked video, there will be a ‘lock” sign on the
video.
Switching Mode Press the M button once, twice, or three times to switch to
camera mode, playback mode, and preview mode.
Camera Mode
Press the OK button to take a photo.
Playback Mode
Play or Stop
Video In the playback mode, short press the OK button to start or stop to view
the video.
Select Playback Video
In the playback mode, press the Up or Down buttons to select the video that
you want to playback.
Fast Forward or Rewind
When playing a video, the Up button means “Rewind button”, and the Down button
means ‘Fast forward button”.
Delete Video
In the playback mode, press the Menu button and select “Delete” to delete the
video. For locked videos, please select Protection to unlock and then delete.
Video Menu
In the preview mode, press the Menu button once to enter the video menu.
Press the Up and Down buttons to select the corresponding.
Press the OK button to confirm.
Enter the sub menu, and press the Up and Down buttons to select the icon.
Press the OK button to confirm and return to the superior menu.
Resolution
Options: 1440P FHD / 1080P FHD / 720P / VGA We recommend 1080P as that is the
best quality, we also recommend a 64GB Class 10 Micro SD card as that will
record more video hours.
Loop Recording
Options: OFF/ 1 Minute/ 3 Minutes/ 5 Minutes. Automatically overwrite the
unlocked video when the Micro card is full, to ensure the normal recording.
Wide Dynamic Range
The purpose of wide dynamic range imaging is to correctly represent the large
range of brightness, in the real world from direct sunlight to darkest
shadows.
Exposure
We recommend that you initially use the default “+0.0”. This setting is
associated with the light conditions that you are driving in, i.e. the darker
the conditions the higher the “+” setting, or if your conditions are very
bright sunshine then you should be using “-“settings.
Motion Detection
We recommend OFF during driving. Under preview mode, the machine will
automatically start recording when detecting a motion 3 meters’ in front of
the car. If shut down, it will restore the default state.
Audio
Select “on” to turn on the recording sound. In the preview mode and video
mode, the Down button is the hotkey to adjust the Audio.
Date Stamp
We recommend On. Please set the correct date and time in the “date/ time”
settings before use.
Gravity Sensor
Options: OFF! Low/ Medium! High. We recommend “Low”. When detecting car
vibration, the section of the file will be locked, the higher the vibration,
the more files are locked. If there are too many locked files, the machine may
stop recording, which needs to format Micro card. Therefore, please do not set
this induction index high.
Parking Guard
Turn on this function, the device will automatically record when it detects
car vibration in the parking state. The parking guard needs to operate this
camera with the built-in battery, the built-in battery capacity of the
recorder is 300mA. Please charge the camera in time through the car charger
while driving, we recommend using it after charging for about 20 minutes to 30
minutes.
Headlight Warning
We recommend Off.
When the front of dim light to a certain degree, this machine will make a
notice and a flashing icon.
System Setting Menu
In the preview mode, press the Menu button twice to enter the system setting
menu. Press the Up and Down buttons to select the corresponding icon, and
press the OK button to confirm. Enter the sub menu, and press the Up and Down
buttons to select the icon. Press the OK button to confirm and return to the
superior menu.
Date/ Time
Press the Up or Down buttons to change the date and press the OK button to
confirm the settings.
Auto Power Off
Options: OFF/ 1 Minute! 3 Minutes. When the camera is not recording, it will
shut down automatically if there is no operation for a period of time.
Beep Sound
Touch-tone.
Language
Options: gift t/ *IS 3t/ 8 AKM/ English/ tF 01/ frangais.
Frequency
Please select the correct AC frequency according to your region.
Screensaver
Options: OFF! 1 Minute/ 3 Minutes. In the recording state, the screen would be
dark when there is no operation after a while, but the recording continues.
Car Number
Please enter the license plate number
Format
Please format your SD card before using it for the first time.
Please format the SD card every 15 days to prevent a camera jam caused by the
card being full.
Default Setting
Select OK to restore the default settings.

Q: Can I playback the video on the dash cam?
A: You can view the recording in playback mode. If it is a locked video,
there will be a “lock” sign on the video.
Q: The Screen prompts “Please insert card”, but I have inserted the micro
SD card, what should I do?
A: Please check if the SD card has been formatted in the camera, or
change to a new premium-brand class 10 SD card with a capacity of 64GB.
Q: The camera automatically shuts down after a one-minute recording. What
should I do?
A: The screen backlight time of the camera defaults to be one minute. As
long as the blue light flashes, the recording is still continuing. You can
also change the backlight time in the system setting-screensaver.
Q: When driving, the camera will beep and show a headlight symbol on the
screen What does it mean and how do I get it to stop doing that?
A: It’s the function ” Headlight Warning” Headlight Warning means the dim
light in the front has reached a certain degree. Therefore, this machine will
make a notice and show a flashing icon. Please turn off it on the menu of ”
Headlight warning”.
Q: Should the dash cam always be on charging to keep recording?
A: Generally speaking, the dash cam needs to be charged all the time. And
please note that the parking monitoring function requires a hard wire kit to
ensure continuous power supply.
