WALL HEATERS
Read these instructions carefully before using this device.
The fan heaters of the EC N range comply with European standards.
Check the condition and operation of the device as soon as you have taken out of its packaging. Any possible original defect being covered by the warranty.
“To comply with Regulation (EU) 2015/1188, implementing Directive 2009/125/ CE regarding ecodesign requirements applicable to local heating devices, it is necessary to use the CRTEMP control accessory”

SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS

  • Installation must be carried out by a professional installer qualified star, in agreement with THE regulations national concerning THE facilities electrical.
  • Do not run the power supply cable in front of the hot air outlet grille, nor bring it into contact with THE walls when the unit heater is functioning.
  • Do not place infl ammable objects less than 50 cm hot air fl ow.
  • Do not install the heater directly below from a power outlet.
  • Do not cover the air heater with objects that could prevent the free circulation of air and lead to device overheating.
  • Keep the air inlet and outlet grilles clean.
  • Never touch the device with wet hands. or wet.

SAFETY STANDARDS FOR THE INSTALLATION

  • The unit heaters are approved to be installed in damp and wet rooms lles (volumes 2 or 3 of a bathroom or bathroom) provided that they are protected by a circuit breaker differential of 30 my maximum.
  • Check that the power supply (voltage and frequency) East compatible with THE values indicated on the plate characteristic.
  • The installation must provide an earth connection. It is not recommended to use an extension cord or multi-plug adapter.
  • In case of direct connection to the network, the power line must provide a system omnipolar cut-off having an opening between contacts of at least 3 mm, although sized by relation to the load and conforms to the standards in vigors.

IMPORTANT

  • There must be sufficient space around the appliance so that there is good air circulation.
  • If the installation is fi xed, place the air heater at a distance minimum of 1.8 meters from the ground and respecting THE indicated distances fi g.1. Not install THE convectors on a wall made of materials fuels (drink, plastic, etc..).

INSTALLATION

  1. Use the support to mark the location of the fixing holes on the wall. Provide screws and dowels sufficiently sized and depending on the type of wall (fig.2).
  2. Place the heater on the support (fig.3).
  3. Orient the heater and tighten all screws.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

The installation must be carried out in accordance with national regulations. concerning THE facilities electric in low tension.
Provide a system of cut omnipolar of the type thermal-magnetic or others upstream of the air heater.
Disassemble THE cover of the unit heater (fi g.4). The scheme of connection electric East placed on the back of This lid.
Connect the air heater at network using cables electric having a section equal to the one indicated on the diagram cables electric will have to be introduced into the air heater by THE stuffing box.
CONNECTING THE CR-25 SWITCH
These fan heaters must be controlled by the switch CR-25 sold separately, as an accessory.
To connect it, knock out one of the holes for the passage of the electrical cable and place a cable gland depending on the type of cable used.
For the connection follow the diagram attached with the switch (fig.5).

CONNECTION TO A ROOM THERMOSTAT
(TR-1 or TR-2 depending on the model)
The room temperature can be regulated by a thermostat driving the air heater. For THE connection follow the attached diagram with THE thermostat.
THE model TR-1 is a thermostat at 1 floor and is at to use with THE EC-3N, EC- 5N and EC-9N unit heaters. THE model TR-2, is a thermostat at 2 floors and is at to use with THE models EC-12N and EC-15N.

FUNCTIONING

The CR-25 switch allows 4 positions:

0 Off
Ventilation
heating power
Full heating power

Operation with thermostat

  • When the switch located at the rear of the air heater (fig.6) on the position the thermostat controls only the heating resistors, cutting off their power supply when the temperature selected by the thermostat is achievement. The fan runs constantly.
  • When the switch located at the back of the air heater (fig.6) in the position the thermostat controls the resistances of heating as well as THE fan, cutting their food when the temperature selected by THE thermostat East achievement.
  • The thermostat sets and maintains the comfort temperature desired. For that:
  • Turn the thermostat control to its position maximum.
  • Select the heating power.
  • When the temperature in the room to be heated has reached THE level longed for, turn the order of thermostat in direction inverse of needles of one watch, until that a slight “click” is heard. Leaving THE thermostat in this position, the heater will maintain the temperature erasure thus selected by turning on and stopping automatically depending on the operating mode chosen.
  • Stop: set the switch to position 0.

SAFETY DEVICE AGAINST OVERHEATING
The unit heaters are equipped with thermal protection with manual reset, automatically shutting down the appliance reel in case of overheating.
In case this happens, let it cool for 15 minutes, check that the suction and blower grilles are not not clogged with an accumulation of dust; Possibly THE to clean After to have unplug the device of network. put back in walk the air heater in pressing THE RESET button located on THE top of the device.
If the problem persists, contact your distributer.
If the installation is protected by a differential circuit breaker of high sensitivity, disconnecting when switched on, it East possible that this is due to the presence moisture in THE resistors heated. In case of not used prolonged, THE resistors can store of humidity. That is not considered like a default of product. For to remedy This issue connect the heater without go through THE differential and so to leave THE dry resistors (it may take several hours). For avoid this kind of issue, bring into walk the unit heater periodically.

INTERVIEW

  • Disconnect the air heater before any maintenance operation and wait for her cooling complete.
  • Each season clean the dust accumulated in the appliance by passing a jet of pressurized air through the through entry and exit gates.
  • Regularly clean the inlet and blower grilles of air.
  • Do not immerse the appliance or place it under a tap of water.
  • Do not disassemble the device, all manipulations carried out by a nobody no allowed, would cause the cancellation of the guarantee.

Note: It is very important to maintain of an air heater. Neglect of and maintenance could cause a fire.
Standards: These devices comply with the Regulation respecting Radio Disturbances and Interferences.
