After receiving a Yealink W60 Series device, reference this self-paced
training, along with the physical device to gain a basic understanding of the
phone’s layout and functionalities.

Phone Overview
Overview
The Yealink W60 desk phones can handle up to eight simultaneous calls. The
wireless handset has a 2.4 inch color display with exceptional HD sound.
Up to eight VoIP accounts can be used and the phone can be desktop-based or
wall mounted.
Phone Layout
Understanding Elements
With an understanding of the Yealink W60 Series desk phones, let’s get
comfortable with the different elements of the phone. This section will
display the phone’s keys and their functionalities.

Base Station Layout
Upon successful registration of a handset to its base station, all LEDs will
glow green.
Understanding the base station:

Paging Key
– Locates a misplaced handset, toggles registration mode, or resets the base to factory settings -
Registration LED
– Indicates handset registration status or that the base is in paging mode -
Network Status LED
– Indicates network status -
Power LED
– Indicates power status of base station
Handset Layout
The following components makeup the layout of the Yealink device.The following keys are used for navigation and interaction with
the Yealink device.
Please note that the soft keys functionality is dependent upon what is
displayed on the LCD screen. The following keys are used to complete common
tasks such as mute microphone, access voicemail, transfer calls, and
more.
Idle Screen Display
Status Line
- On hook (idle) – displays the signal strength, icons, and battery status
- Off hook – displays line ID
Text Line
- On hook (idle) – displays time and date, caller information when receiving an incoming call, and prompt messages
- Off hook (idle) – displays the caller ID of the contact
Soft Key Line
- On hook (idle) – displays History and Line
- Off hook – displays soft keys functionality
Alarm Functions
Administrators can configure different types of alarms for different handsets
to have an emergency call sent automatically in the case of an emergency.
Push-button
- Signals alarm when is pushed !
Man Down
- Signals alarm when device remains at angle less than 30 degrees for a set period of time
No-Movement
- Signals alarm if device remains in a fixed position for a set period of time
Running
- Signals alarm if device detects running state for a set period of time
