Read the instructions before using
the device.
Please Note:
- The automatic feed dispenser is only suitable for dry feed (diameter 5-15 mm).
- Always use the automatic feed dispenser with feed container and lid.
- Do not use this device for puppies and kittens under 7 months.
- Place the automatic feed dispenser on level ground.
- The automatic feed dispenser is suitable for indoor use only.
- Do not let your pet chew on the feed dispenser or on the cable. If necessary, protect the cable with a cable guard.
Before using the automatic feed dispenser:
Plug it into the mains supply. Turn on the main switch at the base. Fill the
automatic feed dispenser with dry feed. Place the lid on the feed container
and turn it to lock it in place securely. Now open the bowl by pressing
against it and pulling it out.
Button Lock:
Press both arrow keys simultaneously for several seconds to release or
activate the button lock. If nothing is selected, the button lock activates
itself after several seconds.
Setting the time:
- Press SET. The hour will start flashing. Use the arrow keys to select the hour you want and save with SET.
- Now the minutes start flashing. Choose the minutes and save with SET.
Programming the feeding times:
- Now the hour and the first point should be flashing. You can choose the first feeding time in the same way as you chose the time and confirm with SET.
- Next the selection of the portions for the first preselected feeding time appears. Choose the portion size with the arrow keys (1 portion =12 ml) and confirm with SET.
- Repeat these steps for all 6 feeding times (each point on the display stand for one feeding time). Should you want fewer feeding times, press SET for about 1 second after your last feeding time. The feeding times are saved.
- When the feed container approaches empty, the feed container gives out no more feed. Refill the feed container and start a manual feeding. The automatic feed dispenser will then return to the preset programme.
Voice recordings:
- To play a voice recording before the feeding time, keep MIC pressed.
- Now record your voice message by speaking into the small hole on the display while the bell symbol is flashing. After 10 seconds, the recording will stop automatically and is saved.
- Should you wish to end the recording earlier, simply let go of the MIC button.
- You can listen to your recording by pressing the MIC button.
- To change the recording, simply start again with step.
Manual feeding:
Press the upward arrow for 1 second. Now a feed portion is given out outside
the programmed feeding times.
Reset to default:
Press SET. Now the chosen hour is flashing. To delete all preset settings,
keep MIC pressed for several seconds. The feed dispneser is reset.
Acquainting:
Some pets need a bit of time to get used to the new automatic feed dispenser..
Therefore we recommend the following:
- Place the automatic feed dispenser next to your dog‘s or cat‘s normal bowl without turning it on.
- To start with, fill both the normal bowl and the bowl of the feed dispenser with feed.
- Once your pet has become used to the automatic feed dispenser, you can remove the normal bowl. To awaken your pet‘s curiosity in the new feed dispenser, regularly place a few treats into the bowl at the start.
Cleaning:
Switch the feed dispenser off and unplug it. Remove the feed bowl (lift it a bit and pull it out), the lid and the feed container (simply pull out upwards)from the station for cleaning (not dishwasher suitable). The dispenser itself should not be cleaned with water, but simply wiped with a damp cloth. Feed container and lid should be completely dry before you fill in new feed.
