Programming

Setting the time

Keep SET pressed for three seconds to set the clock. First set the correct hour by pressing the arrow buttons (up or down) – AM stands for morning, PM for afternoon or evening. Confirm the hour with the OK button. Now the minute display starts flashing. Set the minutes with the arrow buttons and confirm with the OK button.
Please note that the automatic feeder can only be pro-grammed once the time has been set.

Prgramming the feeding times

Press SET and choose the number of feeds per day with the arrow buttons. Confirm with OK. Now the time starts flashing for you to choose the first feeding time. Choose the desired time and then press OK. Next the amount of feed flashes. Chosse the desired amount with the arrow buttons and confirm with OK: 1 portion equals min. 25 ml/max. 500 ml Repeat this procedure for every feeding time. Finally confirm with OK to save all your settings. By pressing MANUAL you can leave the programming at any time. Your settings will be saved.

Voice recording:

  • You can make voice recordings that will be played three times at each feeding time.
  • To do that press REC/PLAY until a microphone appears on the display. Your message will now be recorded for  10 seconds. The microphone on the display flashes three times to indicate the end of the recording.
  • Now press VOL until the loudspeaker symbol flashes and choose the desired volume with the arrow buttons.
  • If you put the volume on zero, no voice recording is played.

Locking the keys:

Keep LOCK pressed for three seconds to activate or deacti-vate the key lock for your settings.

Manual feeding:

Keep MANUAL pressed for three seconds. Now the manual feeding starts. The number of portions dispensed is shown (max. 40 portions). To stop the food being dispensed, press MANUAL again.

Stop the feeding:

Keep OK pressed for three seconds until the word POR-TION disappears from the display. The automatic feeder is now in stand-by mode and does not dispense any feed. Your settings will not be lost. To reactivate the feeder, keep OK pressed for three seconds again until the word PORTION shows up again on the display.

Cleaning:

Switch the feeder off and remove feeding bowl, lid and food container from the feeder body for cleaning (the feeding bowl is dishwasher safe). Feed container and lid should be completely dry before you fill in new feed. The body should not be cleaned in water, but only wiped down.

Acquainting your pet with the feeder:

Some pets need a bit of time to get used to the automatic feeder. Therefore we have the following recommenda-tions for you:

  • Place the automatic feeder next to your dog’s or cat’s usual feeding bowl without switching it on.
  • At the start, fill both bowls – the one your pet uses and the feeding bowl of the automatic feeder.
  • Once your pet has become used to the automatic feeder, you can take away the normal feed bowl.
To awaken your pet’s curiosity, we recommend regularly placing a few treats in the feeding bowl of the automatic feeder.

Please remove batteries and dispose of them properly
