INSTALLATION
Mounting and mounting height with and without brake light function.
It is pointed out that use is only permitted on bicycles with electric pedal
assistance (e-bikes) if an uninterrupted power supply to the lighting system
is still guaranteed for at least two hours after the assist drive has been
switched off due to discharge, or if the drive motor can be used as an
alternator for a transitional period in order to continue to supply the
lighting system with power. In the event of failure of any LED (tail light or
brake light function), the entire product must be replaced.
Mounting height and alignment
The lighting equipment must not be concealed. The tail light must be
permanently mounted at a minimum height of 250 mm and a maximum height of
1,200 mm above the road surface. When mounted horizontally, it must be aligned
parallel to the road. For vertical mounting, the permissible mounting angles
are 90° and up to ± 8° . ATTENTION! In case of mounting at another angle, the
legal requirements for the tail light are not met and the functiality of the
brake light and the emergency brake light cannot be guaranteed.
Switching on the tail light and additional functions
The tail light is switched on and off via the vehicle display / handlebar
control unit or via the front light. The additional functions are
automatically activated by the control electronics with deceleration sensor
integrated in the tail light. If
the speed is reduced significantly, the tail light illuminates 10x brighter
and signals the following traffic to slow down.
In the event of a drastic reduction in speed (hazard braking), the brighter
tail light pulses to warn following traffic of the abrupt braking maneuver.
This increases safety against rear-end collisions.

Mount the tail light parallel to the road at a 90°
angle. It can be tilted at an angle of up to ± 8° .

ATTENTION! Insert the cable ends into the connector as far as possible
and do not remove insulation.
IMPORTANT! Do not press the tap deeper than the
edge of the housing! Requested tool: Scotchlok™ IDC crimping pliers (E-9Y)
BRAKE LIGHT FUNCTION /EMERGENCY BRAKE LIGHT FUNCTION
The TL3 PRO is the first Supernova tail light with a brake light function
which is triggered by a built-in sensor.
Through sophisticated software, this triggering works even in many difficult
situations – on sloping surfaces, potholes, cobblestones, as intended. With a
deceleration of 1 ms² the brake light LEDs light up, with a stronger
deceleration of 3 ms² the emergency brake light pulsates.

The warranty is void if the housing is opened and in case of unqualified
repairs.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
- Never use a high-pressure hose
