Product Information

The Gamry software is a comprehensive suite of tools designed for potentiostat control, data acquisition, and analysis in the field of electrochemistry. It includes the following components:

Gamry FrameworkTM: Provides potentiostat control for flexible data acquisition. Offers standardized experiments grouped by research type and a Sequence Wizard for building complexly automated experiments.
Echem AnalystTM: Enables quick and easy data analysis. Supports specialized analysis algorithms, high-quality plots, customization options, and data export.
My Gamry DataTM : Serves as the default data-folder location for Gamry Framework. Creates a shortcut on the desktop after installation. Allows users to change the folder location within Gamry Framework via Options > Path.
Virtual Front PanelTM: Provides a software-based front panel for quick access to Gamry potentiostats’ functions. Allows users to perform simple electrochemical experiments, similar to an early analog potentiostat front panel.
Electrochemical Signal AnalyzerTM: Designed specifically for the acquisition and analysis of time-dependent electrochemical noise signals.
ResonatorTM: Data acquisition and control software for the Gamry eQCMTM. Offers a full suite of physical electrochemistry techniques.
Electrochemistry ToolkitTM: A sophisticated package that provides complete access to the capabilities of Gamry potentiostats in the software environment of your choice.

Product Usage Instructions

Installation
Insert the installation media.
Click on “Install Software”.
Ensure that you have administrative rights on your computer before installation. If not, contact your IT department for assistance.
If you have previously installed Gamry software, you will be prompted to remove previous versions of the software and Gamry device drivers. Click “YES” to proceed. Note that all previous data will be saved.
Instrument Labeling
To change the label of an instrument, click on the pencil icon next to the instrument’s label.
Close the Instrument Manager.
After a moment, your potentiostat should appear next to “Devices Present” along with a green virtual LED. Repeat this process for additional potentiostats.
Potentiostat Calibration

Follow the steps in the Quick-start Guide #2: USB Potentiostat Calibration to calibrate your potentiostats.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

Insert installation media and click Install Software.
- Be sure to have Administrative rights on your computer before installation. If you do not, contact your IT department for help.
The Gamry Software Installation program runs.
- NOTE: If you have Gamry software previously installed, you are asked to remove previous versions of the software and the Gamry device drivers. Click YES; all previous data will be saved.
- When asked to select a folder location, click Next.
- Follow the prompts to finish the installation. Restart computer.
Open the Gamry Framework™. Gamry Instrument Manager software automatically opens, showing the new instrument and its characteristics.
To change the label of an instrument, click the pencil icon next to the instrument’s label.
Close the Instrument Manager.
After a moment, your potentiostat should appear next to Devices Present along with a green virtual LED. Repeat for additional potentiostats.
