Les Mills D2CRCKFS-B Freestanding Rack
Product Information
The product is a Freestanding Storage Rack designed to be placed against a wall on a hard level floor. It comes with Anti-tip straps for anchoring the rack to the wall securely. The rack is suitable for installation on plasterboard walls with existing studs or concrete/brick walls. The package includes wall plugs for concrete and brick walls, but special wall plugs may be required for other wall types.
Installation Requirements
- The Anti-tip strap should already be attached to the Freestanding Storage Rack. If not, please follow Step 6 under the rack assembly instructions.
- For plasterboard/drywall (walls with existing studs):
- Install the Anti-tip wall bracket 31.5″ (800mm) above the floor level.
- Use a stud finder to locate and mark the position of the stud closest to where the rack will be placed.
- Drill pilot holes into the stud at each marked location.
- Fasten the Anti-tip wall brackets firmly into the wall using three 45mm long screws.
- Place the Freestanding Storage Rack against the wall and tighten the adjustable strap to make it taut between the wall and the rack. Ensure all four feet on the base plate remain on the ground.
- For concrete/brick walls:
- Install the Anti-tip wall bracket 31.5″ (800mm) above the floor level.
- Mark and drill 7/32″ (5.5mm) holes at each marked location.
- Insert the supplied wall expansion anchors into the holes until they sit flush with the wall.
- Fasten the Anti-tip wall brackets firmly into the wall using three 30mm long screws.
- Place the Freestanding Storage Rack against the wall and tighten the adjustable straps to make them taut between the wall and the rack. Ensure all four feet on the base plate remain on the ground.
After installation, ensure that the Freestanding Storage Rack is securely anchored without any movement before use. It is recommended to test the product by initially placing one weight onto the rack at a time.
Warranty Information
The product comes with a limited two-year warranty. The warranty covers failures due to manufacturing faults occurring during normal use and product defects that contravene the Mandatory Consumer Rights. The warranty does not cover faults resulting from normal wear, misuse, abuse, corrosion, damage during loading or relocating equipment, or installation or use of the rack other than as recommended by Les Mills or modified without their consent.

law. This warranty is in addition to and does not replace or limit these
rights. Your country or region may have consumer protection groups or agencies
that offer websites and
other information to help you understand your consumer rights.
SMARTBARTM FREESTANDING STORAGE RACK
IMPORTANT: READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE INSTALLING THIS PRODUCT.
PLEASE KEEP INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
The Les Mills FREESTANDING STORAGE rack has been specifically designed for
storing Les Mills equipment. Subject to the weight restrictions outlined
below, it can store up to twelve Weight Plates (maximum of four Weight Plates
on each weight hanger) and two SMARTBAR™, or one SMARTBAR and multiple
SMARTBAND™. Each side hook can hold a maximum of one SMARTBAR or multiple
SMARTBANDs as depicted in the drawing below.
When storing Weight Plates, the heaviest Weight Plates should always be
located on the lowest Weight hanger, at the bottom of the FREESTANDING STORAGE
rack.
The maximum capacity per Weight Hanger set is outlined in the below illustration.

WARNING: FAILURE TO ADHERE TO THESE INSTRUCTIONS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
CHOKING HAZARD: SMALL PARTS IN THE INSTALLATION KIT COULD PRESENT A CHOKING HAZARD.

- ALWAYS ensure the supplied Anti-tip kit is installed to prevent injury.
- Place the FREESTANDING STORAGE rack against a wall, in a clearly accessible area on a hard flat surface. This area should be free from other obstructions such as slanted ceilings, and within easy reach of the user.
- This FREESTANDING STORAGE rack is not a toy and should only be used by those aged 14 years or older.
- The owner of this FREESTANDING STORAGE rack is responsible for ensuring that all users of this product are adequately informed of all the safety information.
- Only use this FREESTANDING STORAGE rack as a storage facility for specified Les Mills equipment.
- Do not place any additional load on the FREESTANDING STORAGE rack other than what it has been designed to accommodate.
- This FREESTANDING STORAGE rack is only intended for personal domestic use. Do not use this product in any commercial or institutional setting.
- Keep children away to prevent injury from climbing or hanging on the FREESTANDING STORAGE rack. Never leave children unsupervised with the FREESTANDING STORAGE rack.
- Keep the FREESTANDING STORAGE rack indoors and away from any moisture and dust.
- After assembling the FREESTANDING STORAGE, and before each use, carefully inspectthe rack to ensure there is no damage and the screws are tight.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
- After assembling the FREESTANDING STORAGE, and before each use, carefully inspect to ensure there is no damage and the screws are tight. Stop use of the FREESTANDING STORAGE rack immediately if there are any signs of damage.
- For cleaning, please wipe the FREESTANDING STORAGE rack with a clean, damp cloth with mild detergent. Please then dry with a clean, dry cloth.
- Keep the FREESTANDING STORAGE indoors and away from any moisture and dust.
- Do not attempt to repair the FREESTANDING STORAGE rack yourself.
- If you have any difficulties with the assembly or the use of this FREESTANDING STORAGE rack, or if you think that any parts are missing, please get in touch with your local Les Mills authorised equipment distributor.
- If you no longer want your FREESTANDING STORAGE rack, please dispose responsibly, in accordance with local household recycling guidelines.

ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Prior to assembly, remove all components from the packaging and check against the parts list on the previous page. If any parts are missing or you notice any sign of damage please return the FREESTANDING STORAGE to your local equipment distributor. Please ensure that no equipment is placed on the FREESTANDING STORAGE during assembly.
RACK ASSEMBLY
STEP 1 Insert the Lower frame 2 into the Base . Ensuring the frame is correctly orientated as per the illustration (with the two large holes facing towards the logo on the Base). Fasten with six M6 x 10 screws 8 using the M6 Allen key 3.
STEP 2 Inert the Middle frame 3 into the Lower frame 2. Ensuring the
frame is correctly orientated as per the illustration (with the two large
holes facing towards the logo on the Base).
Fasten with six M6 x 10 screws 8.
STEP 3 Insert the Upper frame into the Middle frame 3. Ensuring the frame is correctly orientated as per the illustration (with the two large holes facing towards the logo on the Base). Fasten with six M6 x 10 screws 8 .
STEP 4 Attach Weight hanger § to the lowest position and fasten with two
M6 x 40mm screws 9.
Repeat this step for the other two Weight hangers.
STEP 5 Attach the two Side hooks 6 to each indicated location and fasten with two M4 x 8mm screws 10 .
STEP 6 Attach the Anti-tip Strap to the rear of the Upper frame , behind the Weight hanger with one M6 x 10mm screws 8.
STEP 7 Check all fasteners are fully tightened and there is no movement between the parts.
WARNING: FAILURE TO INSTALL THE ANTI-TIP STRAP COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS
INJURY OR DEATH.
Please now install the FREESTANDING STORAGE to the wall as per the assembly
instructions under ANTI-TIP STRAP INSTALLATION TO THE WALL
ANTI-TIP STRAP INSTALLATION TO THE WALL
The FREESTANDING STORAGE rack has been designed to be placed against a wall,
on a hard level floor with the Anti-tip straps firmly anchored into a
plasterboard wall with a wooden stud, or a concrete/brick wall. Please ensure
that no equipment is placed on the FREESTANDING STORAGE rack during assembly.
The supplied wall plugs are suitable for concrete and brick walls. For other
wall types, special wall plugs must be used. Wall structures vary. Please
consult a construction professional to confirm whether your wall structure is
appropriate for installation of this FREESTANDING STORAGE rack.
The Anti-tip strap ⑦ should already be attached to the FREESTANDING STORAGE rack. If not, please follow Step 6 under the rack assembly instructions.
FOR PLASTERBOARD / DRYWALL (for walls with existing studs)
STEP 1 Use a stud finder to locate and mark the location of the stud closest to the position where the FREESTANDING STORAGE rack will be placed.
STEP 2 The Anti-tip wall bracket should be installed 31.5” (800mm) above the floor height. Mark and drill 7/64” (3mm) pilot holes into the stud at each marked location.
STEP 3 Use three 45mm long screws ⑪ and fasten the Anti-tip wall brackets firmly into the wall.
STEP 4 Place the FREESTANDING STORAGE rack up against the wall and then tighten the adjustable strap so it is taut between the wall and the rack. Ensure that all four feet on the Base plate remain on the ground.
FOR CONCRETE / BRICK WALL
STEP 1 The Anti-tip wall bracket should be installed 31.5” (800mm) above the floor height. Mark and drill 7/32” (5.5mm) holes at each marked location.
STEP 2 Install the supplied wall expansion anchors ⑫ into the 7/32” (5.5mm) holes until they sit flush with the wall.
STEP 3 Use three 30mm long screws ⑪ and fasten the Anti-tip wall brackets firmly into the wall.
STEP 4 Place the FREESTANDING STORAGE rack up against the wall and then
tighten the adjustable straps so they are taut between the wall and the rack.
Ensure that all four feet on the base plate remain on the ground.
Ensure the FREESTANDING STORAGE rack is securely anchored, without any
movement before use. We recommend testing the product by initially placing one
weight onto the FREESTANDING STORAGE rack at a time.
SMARTBARTM FREESTANDING STORAGE – WARRANTY INFORMATION
CONSUMER CUSTOMERS ONLY
As a consumer, you have statutory consumer rights and guarantees granted by
law. This warranty is in addition to and does not replace or limit these
rights. Your country or region has consumer protection groups or agencies that
offer websites and other information which you may find helpful to understand
your consumer rights.
At Les Mills Merchandise Limited (Les Mills) we stand behind our materials and
manufacturing and offer customers who purchase the Les Mills FREESTANDING
STORAGE rack for consumer use a two-year warranty for product defects that
occur during the warranty period. Les Mills’ local distributor may, subject to
your statutory consumer rights, replace a faulty FREESTANDING STORAGE rack in
accordance with the conditions set out below. This warranty applies in
addition to, and is not intended to exclude, your statutory consumer rights
under applicable law.
LIMITED TWO-YEAR WARRANTY TERMS
This limited warranty is valid only in countries where Les Mills has an
authorised distributor. It covers manufacturing faults occurring during the
warranty period when purchased from Les Mills or a distributor authorised by
Les Mills. The limited warranty applies only to the original purchaser and
does not cover second- hand equipment or re-sold equipment. The equipment must
remain in the possession of the original buyer/owner. The limited warranty
period lasts for two years and commences from the date on which the original
buyer purchases the equipment. Warranty repairs will not extend the warranty
period.
EXCLUSIONS
This limited warranty covers only failures due to manufacturing faults that
occur during normal use and/or product defects that contravene your Mandatory
Consumer Rights. This warranty does not extend to faults resulting from normal
wear, misuse, abuse, corrosion, damage incurred during loading or relocating
equipment, or where the FREESTANDING STORAGE rack has been installed or used
other than as recommended by Les Mills or modified without the consent of Les
Mills.
Neither Les Mills nor its authorised local distributor will be liable for any
defects due to reasons beyond their control.
Nothing in this Exclusions section shall exclude or limit any mandatory
consumer protections that are available to you in your territory or any other
liability which cannot be excluded by law. Further, there shall be no limits
on the liability of Les Mills, agents acting on Les Mills’ behalf and/or its
legal representatives in the event of fraud or their negligence resulting in
personal injury or death.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY GIVEN BY LES MILLS AND SUPERSEDES ANY PRIOR, CONTRARY OR ADDITIONAL REPRESENTATIONS. ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, EXCLUDING ANY STATUTORY WARRANTY TO WHICH YOU ARE ENTITLED UNDER YOUR MANDATORY CONSUMER RIGHTS, ARE DISCLAIMED EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY LAW. IN SUCH EVENT, SUCH WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE WARRANTY PERIODS SET FORTH ABOVE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER LEGAL RIGHTS, WHICH VARY FROM TERRITORY TO TERRITORY.
HOW TO MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM
For enquiries, or to make a warranty claim, either contact your local Les
Mills authorised equipment distributor or visit our website
www.lesmills.com/merchandise/equipment/warranty.
Warranty claims must be made within 30 days of the warranty incident and
claims must be submitted with proof of purchase details. Claims must be made
within the specified warranty period. Any replacement or repaired component
will be warranted for the remainder of the original Limited Warranty period or
30 days, whichever is longer, or for any additional period that is required by
applicable law.
