Product Usage Instructions

Power
Ensure you follow the safety precautions provided in the Safety Flyer included with your TV. Do not pull, push, or climb on the TV as it may cause the TV to fall and result in serious injury or death.

Installation

If you plan to mount the TV on a wall, carefully follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer. Incorrect mounting can cause the TV to slide or fall, leading to serious injury or damage to the TV.
Do not attempt to install the wall mount kit while the TV is turned on to avoid the risk of electric shock.
It is important to provide proper ventilation for your TV. Samsung Electronics recommends using parts provided by them for optimal performance and safety. Using parts from another manufacturer may result in difficulties with the product or injuries caused by the product falling.
Please refer to the Unpacking and Installation Guide for more detailed instructions on installing your TV and ensuring proper ventilation.
For added stability and safety, you can purchase and install an anti-fall device. Please refer to the section on “Preventing the TV from falling” for further instructions.

Mounting the TV on a wall

If you mount this TV on a wall, follow the instructions exactly as set out by the manufacturer. If it is not correctly mounted, the TV may slide or fall and cause serious injury to a child or adult and serious damage to the TV.

Connecting the TV to the One Connect Box

Initial Setup

When you turn on your TV for the first time, it immediately starts the Initial Setup. Follow the instructions displayed on the screen and configure the TV’s basic settings to suit your viewing environment.

You will need a Samsung Account to access our network-based smart services. If you choose not to log in, you will only get a connection to terrestrial TV (applicable to devices with tuners only) and external devices, e.g. via HDMI.

Using the TV Controller

You can turn on the TV with the TV Controller button at the bottom of the TV, and then use the Control menu. The Control menu appears when the TV Controller button is pressed while the TV is On.

The position and shape of the buttons at the bottom of the TV may differ depending on the model.
The screen may dim if the protective film on the SAMSUNG logo or the bottom of the TV is not detached. If protective film is attached, remove the film.

How to turn on and off the Microphone On Off

You can turn on or off the microphone by using the switch at the bottom of the TV. If the microphone is turned off, All voice and sound features using the microphone are not available.

This panel is made up of sub pixels which require sophisticated technology There may be, however, a few bright or dark pixels on the screen. These pixels will have no impact on the performance of the product.
To keep your TV in optimum condition, upgrade to the latest software. Use the Update Now or Auto-update functions on the TV’s menu ( > __ Menu > Settings

Decreasing power consumption

When you shut the TV off, it enters Standby mode. In Standby mode, it continues to draw a small amount of power. To decrease power consumption, unplug the power cord when you don’t intend to use the TV for a long time.
