Assembly:
- Place stand A [19] on stand B [20] to form an X-shaped base.
- Place the lower pole [16] with the pole support [18] on the base and fix it with the provided screws.
- Loosen and remove the pole connector [15] from the lower pole, then slide the pole ornament [17] over the lower pole to cover the screws in the base.
- Extend the upper pole [14], slide the pole connector [15] back over the poles, and tighten it.
- Attach the motor [11] to the upper pole. Make sure it is pushed as far as possible onto the pole and secure it by tightening the knob under the speed buttons.
- Loosen the grille mounting nut [6] from the motor housing [9].
- Position the rear grille [7] firmly to the motor housing [9] and fasten it with the mounting nut [6].
- Push the fan blade [5] along the motor shaft [8] and fasten it firmly with the spinner [4].
- Hang the front grille on the rear grille using the grille clamp [3]. Make sure the screw holes in the rims of the grilles correspond. Fix the grilles together with the screw and the clips on the rim of the front grille.
- Fix the grille ornament [1] to the front of the grille. Your fan is now ready for use.

Assembly
Assemble the fan as follows:
- Place stand A [191 on stand B [201 to form an X-shaped base.
- Place the lower pole [16] with the pole support [18] on the base and fix it with the provided screws.
- Loosen and remove the pole connector [15] from the lower pole, then slide the pole ornament [17] over the lower pole to cover the screws in the base.
- Extend the upper pole [14], slide the pole connector [15] back over the poles and tighten it.
- Attach the motor [11] to the upper pole. Make sure it is pushed as far as possible onto the pole, and secure it by tightening the knob under the speed buttons.
- Loosen the grille mounting nut [6] from the motor housing [9].
- Position the rear grille [7] firmly to the motor housing [9] and fasten it with the mounting nut [6].
- Push the fan blade [5] along the motor shaft [8] and fasten it firmly with the spinner [4].
- Hang the front grille on the rear grille using the grille clamp [3]. Make sure the screw holes in the rims of the grilles correspond. Fix the grilles together with the screw and the clips on the rim of the front grille.
- Fix the grille ornament [1] to the front of the grille. Your fan is now ready for use.
Use
To use the fan:
- Place the fan on a flat and sturdy surface. Make sure no objects (e.g. curtains) can be sucked into the rear of the fan.
- Insert the power plug into the mains.
- To adjust the height, hold the upper pole [14] and loosen the pole connector [15]. Slide the upper pole to the desired height and tighten the pole connector.
- Loosen the tilt knob [12] and adjust the fan’s tilt position. Tighten the knob again to fix the position.
- Set the desired output speed using the speed buttons [13]: 0 = stop; 1 = low; 2 = medium; 3 = high.
- Push down the oscillation knob [10] to make the fan oscillate. Pull up the oscillation knob [10] to fix the fan’s direction.
- Always switch off and unplug from the mains before moving the fan.
- Switch off and unplug from the mains after use.
Cleaning and maintenance
- Disconnect the device from the mains prior to maintenance activities.
- Clean out the parts with a soft and dry cloth. Remove stains with a damp cloth and some mild soap. Remove soap remnants with the damp cloth. Do not use abrasives.
- Make sure no water or any other liquid enters the motor assembly [11] or the control buttons [10, 13].
- Keep the ventilation holes of the motor assembly [11] free from dust at all times.

- Articles to be repaired must be delivered to your Velleman® dealer, solidly packed (preferably in the original packaging), and be completed with the original receipt of purchase and a clear flaw description.
- Hint: In order to save on cost and time, please reread the manual and check if the flaw is caused by obvious causes prior to presenting the article for repair. Note that returning a non-defective article can also involve handling costs.
- Repairs occurring after warranty expiration are subject to shipping costs.
- The above conditions are without prejudice to all commercial warranties.
