General Instructions

Before using the product for the first time please read the genuine user’s manual, follow its instructions, and keep It for later use or subsequent user.

Intended use

This product was developed for home use – it is not intended for industrial applications. The manufacturer shall refuse liability for any damage resulting due to the use of the device Inconsistent with the Intended application as well as Improper operation or assembly thereof. Please supervise children to make sure that they are not playing with the product.

Safety

Do not use the device In drinking water systems. Use the device for clean water only with a maximum temperature of 40″C. The use of turbid, dirty water may cause the meter to stop. Check the device for damage before each use, and discontinue use If there Is damage visible. Do not use any sealants or lubricants to connect the device to the tap. Never pun on the connected hose. Do not install the device near heat sources (max. ambient temperature is 60″C). Do not use the device near energized equipment.

Starting up

Connect the device to the installation. The -now meter starts automatically when the water Is turned on.

Operation

Automatic water -now measurement. Battery saving mode: the screen wlll go off If there Is no water flow for 5 minutes or no button Is activated. To activate the function from the battery saving mode: 1. hold down the CLEAR [1] or RESET [2] button to activate the meter. 2. The device will detect the fan rotation (water flow) and start the measuring. Operational steps (flg.C):1. When water ls flowing: FLOW-A [4] and FLOW-B [5] synchronously count the water flow (fig. 3). 2. To resat FLOW-A [4] to zero, press CLEAR [1], then FLOW-B [5] shows the total irrigation volume/water flow (fig. 4). 3.
FLOW-A [4] starts counting the water flow from zero, whileFLOW-B [5] synchronously collects the data from the flow meter (fig. 5).4. To reset FLOW- A [14] and FLOW-B [5] to zero, hold down the RESET [2] button. The flowmeter will start counting the water flow from zero.

Description of functions

CLEAR [1] button – resetting a single measurement. RESET [2] button – resetting the total measurement. P-MIN [3] water flow rate – shows the current flow rate in L/min or Gal/ min. FLOW-A [4] – single use water consumption. FLOW-B [5] – total water consumption. All icons on the display appear when the device is started.

Setting of displayed parameters

CLEAR [1] button: by pressing once, a single measurement is reset; by holding the button for 3 seconds, the function is switched from flow volume to flow rate or from flow rate to flow volume. RESET [2] button: by pressing once, the total measurement is reset; by holding the button for 3 seconds, the unit is switched from litre to gallon or from gallon to litre. Switching the flow rate to the flow size (fig. 1): By holding down the CLEAR [1] button and then releasing it, the arrow symbol will start flashing. Select the flow rate or flow, holding CLEAR [1] again allows you to return to the previous function. Change of measurement of the converter (gallon/litre) (fig. 2): After pressing the RESET [2] button for more than 3 seconds, select GAL or LIT. Pressing RESET [2] again for more than 3 seconds allows you to return to the unit change.

Maintenance

Check battery condition. The battery should be replaced when its flashing symbol appears on the screen.

End of work
The device stops measuring when the water is turned off.

Storage

Store the device out of reach of children in a dry, closed and frost-free place to avoid possible damage.

Disposal

According to directive 2012/19/EU. The device must not be disposed of together with regular household waste. The device must be disposed of in accordance with local environmental regulations.

Troubleshooting

1. No indication on the display: Battery discharged > replace the battery; The minimum pressure of 0.5 bar is not achieved > provide 0.5 bar.
2. Leakage at the water Loosen the water connection at the tap > screw the connection back on.
