Notes on Cleaning

Remove the batteries before cleaning. Only use a dry cloth to clean the exterior of the device. To avoid damaging the electronics, do not use any cleaning fluid. Protect the device from dust and moisture.

Disposal

 Dispose of the packaging materials properly, according to their type, such as paper or cardboard. Contact your local waste-disposal service or environmental authority for information on the proper disposal.
 Do not dispose of electronic devices in the household garbage! As per the Directive 2012/19/EC of the European Parliament on waste electrical and electronic equipment and its adaptation into German law, used electronic devices must be collected separately and recycled in an environmentally friendly manner.
 In accordance with the regulations concerning batteries and rechargeable batteries, disposing of them in the normal household waste is explicitly forbidden. Please make sure to dispose of your used batteries as required by law — at a local collection point or in the retail market. Disposal in domestic waste violates the Battery Directive.
Batteries that contain toxins are marked with a sign and a chemical symbol.

Ⓐ Battery installation

Location and operation

Only adults should insert or replace the batteries.

  1. Loosen the battery compartment screw with a small Phillips screwdriver and carefully remove the cover.
  2. Insert three AA batteries into the unit with polarity as indicated on the battery compartment.
  3. Close the battery compartment again.

Turn the focus knob to focus the image

  1. . Place the unit over the stand (6) on a flat and stable platform (e.g. a table). The optimal projection distance is about 1.8 m to 2 m.
  2. Press the On/Off button (1) once to turn on the projector light. Dim or turn off the light in the room for the best visual experience.

Adjust the Focus dial (2) until the projected star field is in focus. The image will blur if the distance is too near or too far.

You can freely adjust the projection angle of the projector on the stand (6), to enable viewing on the ceiling or wall.
