Product Information
The Fire Station toy set includes the following components:
- One SmartPointTM Fire Engine

Product Usage Instructions
Battery Removal And Installation
- Make sure the unit is turned OFF.
- Find the battery cover located on the bottom of the Fire Truck, use a screwdriver to loosen the screw and then open the battery cover.
- Remove old batteries by pulling up on one end of each battery.
- Install 2 new AAA (AM-4/LR03) batteries following the diagram inside the battery box. (For best performance, alkaline batteries or fully charged Ni-MH rechargeable batteries are recommended).
- Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure.
WARNING: Adult assembly required for battery installation. Keep batteries out of reach of children.
Disposal of Batteries and Product
When disposing of batteries or the product, please follow the local
regulations and guidelines for safe disposal of electronic waste and
batteries. Do not dispose of them in regular household waste.

Please stick the labels to the play set as shown in the diagram below:

Assembly Instructions
Door Assembly
- Snap the two door fronts to the door floor. The side with a 1 on the back should be inserted on the left of the door floor. Insert the side with a 2 on the back into the right of the door floor. Then insert the door into the two grooves in the base.
- Fix the door top onto the two door fronts. Attach the back wall of the door building using the tabs on the door floor and door top. You will hear a clicking sound when they are correctly attached.
- Attach the right wall to the door floor and door top support. You will hear a clicking sound when they are correctly attached.
Connect the lift track to the right wall. You will hear a clicking sound when they are correctly attached.
Track and Component Assembly
- Snap ramp track B and ramp track C together, then insert road support A and road support B into the groove of ramp track C.
- Insert ramp track A into the groove on ramp track C.
- Snap the training tower with bell onto ramp track A. Then insert the launcher piece into ramp track A’s grooves.
- Snap the building base under ramp track C. Insert the two road support-middles on ramp track B and ramp track C separately. Insert the fire flipper into the second floor of ramp track C.

Thank you for purchasing the VTech® Toot-Toot Drivers® Station. This busy Fire Engine is coming to the rescue! Little ones will explore role-play excitement with the Fire Station. Press the bell button to sound the alarm and launch the Fire Engine into action! Hear phrases, music and sounds when your vehicle responds to the four SmartPoint™ locations.

WARNING
All packing materials such as tape, plastic sheets, packaging locks, removable
tags, cable ties, cords and packaging screws are not part of this toy, and
should be discarded for your child’s safety.
NOTE
Please save this manual as it contains important information.
Removing the Packaging Locks:
- Pull out the packaging locks and discard.
- Turn the packaging locks anticlockwise several times.
INSTRUCTIONS
Battery Removal And Installation
- Make sure the unit is turned OFF.

MPORTANT: BATTERY INFORMATION
- Insert batteries with the correct polarity (+ and -).
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable batteries.
- Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.
- Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
- Remove batteries during long periods of non-use.
- Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
- Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES
- Remove rechargeable batteries (if removable) from the toy before charging.
- Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
- Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
Disposal of batteries and product
- The crossed-out wheelie bin symbols on products and batteries, or on their respective packaging, indicates they must not be disposed of in domestic waste as they contain substances that can be damaging to the environment and human health.
- The chemical symbols Hg, Cd or Pb, where marked,indicate that the battery contains more than the specified value of mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd) or lead (Pb) set out in the Batteries and Accumulators Regulation.
- The solid bar indicates that the product was placed on the market after 13th August, 2005.
- Please dispose of your product and batteries responsibly.
- In the UK, give this toy a second life by disposing of it at a small electricals collection point* so all of its materials can be recycled.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
With the Toot-Toot Drivers® Fire Station, safety comes first.
To ensure your child’s safety, adult assembly is required..

Assemble the door, door floor and wall components. Following the steps below:

A. Snap the two door fronts to the door floor. The side with a 1 on the back should be inserted on the left of the door floor. Insert the side with a 2 on the back into the right of the door floor, as shown below. Then Insert the door into the two grooves in the base as shown.

B. Fix the door top onto the two door fronts, as shown below.
Attach the back wall of the door building using the tabs on the door floor and door top. You will hear a clicking sound when they are correctly attached. -
C. Attach the right wall to the door floor and door top support, as shown. You will hear a clicking sound when they are correctly attached. Connect the lift track to the right wall, will hear a clicking sound when they are correctly attached.

Assemble the tracks and components on the left side of the play set following the steps below:
- A. Snap ramp track B and ramp track C together, then insert road support A and road support B into the groove of ramp track C.
- B. Insert ramp track A into the groove on ramp track C.
- C. Snap the training tower with bell onto ramp track A. Then insert the launcher piece into ramp track A’s grooves.
- D. Snap the building base under ramp track C. Insert the two road support-middles on ramp track B and ramp track C separately. Insert the fire flipper into the second floor of ramp track C

Attach the assembled tracks to the assembled fire station as shown below.

Connect ramp track D and the road support-middle together.
5. Attach ramp track D and the road support-middle to the assembled tracks and the fire station.
6. Attach the lift platform to the fire station. Lift it up and down smoothly to make sure it is secure.
7. Attach the fire hydrant to ramp track B, as show below.
Once you’ve completed the above steps, you are ready to play! You can connect these pieces to other Toot-Toot Drivers® play sets and tracks (each sold separately).
PRODUCT FEATURES

On/Off Switch
To turn the unit On, slide the On/Off Switch to the On ( ) position. To turn the unit Off, slide the On/Off Switch to the Off ( ) position. -
Automatic Shut-Off
To preserve battery life, the Toot-Toot Drivers® Fire Engine will automatically power down after approximately 60 seconds without input. The unit can be turned on again by pressing the light up face button, rolling the car quickly or triggering a SmartPoint™ location.
Note: This product is in Try-Me mode in the packaging. After opening the package, turn the vehicle off and on again to proceed with normal play. If the unit repeatedly powers down while playing, please install a new set of batteries.
ACTIVITIES
Fire Engine
- Press the Light up Button to hear fun phrases, songs, sounds and melodies. While a melody is playing, continue pushing the Fire Engine to add in fun sounds on top of the melody. The windscreen light will flash with sounds.
- Push the Fire Engine to hear fun sounds and phrases. The windscreen light will flash with sounds.
- Raise and lower the ladder to hear fun sounds and phrases. The windscreen light will flash with sounds.
- Place the Fire Engine on one of the play set’s four SmartPoint™ locations to see the Fire Engine’s lights flash and to hear fun sounds, short tunes and phrases. The Fire Engine even interacts with other Toot-Toot Drivers® play sets (other play sets sold separately)
Fire Station
- Place the Fire Engine or any SmartPoint™ vehicle (each sold separately) on any of the 4 SmartPoint™ locations to trigger fun sounds, songs or phrases.
- Put the Fire Engine on the SmartPoint™ lift and then move the lift up and down.
- Put the Fire Engine on the SmartPoint™ Launcher. Then press the launcher button to ring the bell and roll the Fire Engine down the ramp and into action.
- Turn the Switch Gate lever to switch the track between the ramp and the door routes.
- Roll the Fire Engine down the door ramp and see it rush through the Fire Station door or open the door and push the Fire Engine through.
- Use the 3 accessories (Fire, Fire Extinguisher & Fire Hydrant) for roleplay fun. Press the white button on top of the fire hydrant to move the fire hose.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
- Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
- Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat sources.
- Remove the batteries if the unit will not be in use for an extended period of time.
- Do not drop the unit on a hard surface and do not expose the unit to moisture or water.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If for some reason the unit stops working or malfunctions, please follow these steps:
- Turn the unit Off.
- Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.
- Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
- Turn the unit On. The unit should now be ready to play again.
- If the unit still does not work, install a new set of batteries.
