Product Information
- The Godox LED36 is a video light designed for macrophotography, product shooting, and video recording. It is a lightweight and portable light that provides high brightness and accurate color temperature. The light features a dimmer that allows you to control the brightness, and it can be interlocked with multiple lights for added flexibility.
- Important warnings include keeping the product dry and avoiding use in rainy or damp conditions. The product should not be disassembled, and any necessary repairs must be done by an authorized maintenance center. It should be kept out of reach of children and not used in the presence of flammable gases or chemicals.
- The product does not have a waterproof function, so precautions should be taken in rainy or damp environments. Batteries should be handled with care, avoiding fire or direct heat. When not in use for a long time or when batteries are fully discharged, they should be removed to prevent damage. In case of contact with skin or clothing, batteries should be rinsed immediately with fresh water.
- The product comes with several parts, including 36 LED beads, a power switch, a brightness controller, a battery compartment, and a light hotshoe connection. It also has locking rings, a camera hotshoe connection, and a 1/4 bracket mounting hole.
Product Usage Instructions
- Installing the Video Light:
- Screw Locking Ring A (06) and B (07) to the highest point to fix the light.
- Insert the Camera Hotshoe Connection horizontally into the hot shoe of a camera or camcorder.
- Tighten Locking Ring B (07).
- Note : If your camcorder has no hot shoe connection, you may need to purchase a connecting bracket for the camcorder. The video light has a 1/4 Bracket Mounting Hole that allows you to easily connect both the light and the camcorder to the bracket.
- Using the Video Light:
- Open the Battery Compartment (04).
- Install two AA batteries according to the indications in the compartment and close it.
- Switch the power on to activate the video light.
- Turn the Brightness Controller (03) to adjust the brightness.
- Turn the power off when not in use.
- Interlocking Multiple Video Lights:
- Use the Light Hotshoe Connection (05) and Camera Hotshoe Connection (08) to interlock multiple video lights.
- This allows you to strengthen the lighting brightness and have better control over the lighting effects.

LED36 video light is excellent for macrophotography, product shooting, and
video recording, etc. This lightweight and portable light provides high
brightness and accurate color temperature. You can flexibly control the light
brightness by using the dimmer and by interlocking multiple lights.
Warning:
- Always keep this product dry. Do not use in rain or in damp conditions.
- Do not disassemble. Should repairs become necessary, this product must be sent to an authorized maintenance center.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- As this product do not have a waterproof function, please take measures of waterproofing in a rainy or damp environment.
- Do not use or store the product if the ambient temperature reads over 50°C.
- Do not use the flash unit in the presence of flammable gases, chemicals, and other similar materials. In certain circumstances, these materials may be sensitive to the strong light emitting from this flash unit and fire or electromagnetic interference may result.
- Observe precautions when handling batteries
- Do not put batteries into a fire or apply direct heat to them.
- Batteries are prone to leakage when fully discharged. To avoid damage to the product, be sure to remove batteries when the product is not used for a long time or when batteries run out of charge.
- Should liquid from the batteries come into contact with skin or clothing, rinse immediately with fresh water.

Installation and Operation
Installing the Video Light
- Screw the Locking Ring A (06) and B (07) to the highest point so that the light is fixed and insert the Camera Hotshoe Connection horizontally into the hotshoe of a camera or a camcorder.
- Tighten the Locking Ring B (07).
Note : If your camcorder has no hot shoe connection, you are advised to purchase a connecting bracket for the camcorder. The video light has a 1/4″ Bracket Mounting Hole as your camcorder does. Therefore, you can easily connect both the light and the camcorder to the bracket.
Using the Video Light
- Open the Battery Compartment (04).
- Install batteries (2*AA) according to indications in the compartment and then close it.
- Switch the power on, and the video light gives out light.
- Turn the Brightness Controller (03) to adjust the brightness.
- Turn the power off if it will not be used.
Interlocking Multiple Video Lights
Through the Light Hotshoe Connection (05) and Camera Hotshoe Connection (08), multiple video lights can be interlocked together to strengthen the lighting brightness and get a better control of the lighting effects.
