Product Information
The 30 cu. ft. 4-Door French Door Refrigerator (Model RF31CG7400) is a standard-depth refrigerator that measures 35 3/4 inches in width. It has a depth of 29 1/2 inches without the door, 48 1/2 inches with the door, and 53 inches with the drawer open. The depth to the door handle is 36 1/4 inches. The height without the hinge is 68 7/8 inches, and with the hinge, it is 70 inches. The depth without the handle is 34 5/8 inches. It is important to note that the above dimensions are for planning purposes only and should be verified with the manual for complete installation details.
This refrigerator is designed to fit a 36-inch opening and is not a counter- depth refrigerator. It is recommended to measure the height including flooring, the width including countertop overhang, and the depth including molding or trim to ensure proper fit. Additionally, a minimum clearance of 2 inches should be allowed at the rear for air circulation and water/electrical connections. Adequate clearance at the sides and top should also be provided for ease of installation.
To ensure optimal usage and the ability to open the refrigerator doors completely, it is advised not to install the refrigerator next to a wall.

Installation clearances
- Allow 3 ¾” of clearance when installing along a wall. This will allow for the door to open 90 degrees without the handle contacting the wall.
- Allow 2″ minimum clearance at rear for proper air circulation and water/electrical connections.
- Allow a ⅜” minimum clearance at sides and top for ease of installation.
For optimal usage and ability to open refrigerator doors completely, do not
install next to a wall.
