Product Usage Instructions
Finger Placement
Recommended fingers: Index, middle, or ring fingers. Avoid using the thumb or
pinky finger, as they are difficult to press accurately on the fingerprint
reader.
Installation Environment
Please refer to the following recommendations for installation:
- Device Installation: The IN710 requires no difficult installation, just fix the device on a flat table.
Power Connection
AC Adapter: DC 12V, 3A
Recommended AC Adapter:
- Rating of 12V and 3A.
- To share the device’s power with other devices, use a power supply with higher current ratings.
Ethernet Connection
After the device is powered on, connect the network connector via the Ethernet
cable.
Type-C Connection
Connect the device and computer via a Type-C cable.
Door Sensor, Exit Button and Lock Relay Connection
Door Sensor and Exit Button:
The system supports Normally Opened Lock and Normally Closed Lock. The NO
LOCK (normally unlocked when power-ON) is connected to ‘NO’ and ‘COM’
terminals, and the NC LOCK (normally locked when power-ON) is connected to
‘NC’ and ‘COM’ terminals. For an example, refer to the below-mentioned NC
Lock:
- Device not sharing power with the lock: +5V, +5V, GND
- Device sharing power with the lock: +5V, +5V, GND
New User Registration
When there is no super administrator set in the device, click on icon > [User
Mgt.] > [New User] to register a new user. The options include entering the
user ID and Name, setting User Role and Verification Mode, registering ID
Card, Fingerprint and Password.
Ethernet
Click on icon > [COMM.] > [Ethernet] to set the network parameters. If the
TCP/IP communication of the device is successful, the icon will be displayed
in the upper right corner of the standby interface.
Access Control
Click on icon > [Access Control] to enter the access control interface and set
relevant parameters of access control.
System
Click on icon > [System] to enter the system interface to set the related
system parameters for optimizing the accessibility of the device.
Attendance Record
Click on icon > [Attendance Search] > [Attendance Record] to enter the
personal record search, input the user ID and select the time range. Then the
corresponding attendance record will be displayed.

New User Registration

menu. Add a new user and set User Role to Super Admin, then the system
requests for the administrator’s verification before entering the menu. It is
recommended to register a super administrator initially for security purposes.
Click on icon> [User Mgt.] > [New User] to register a new user. The options
include entering the user ID and Name, setting User Role and Verification
Mode, registering ID Card, Fingerprint and Password.
Ethernet
Click on icon > [COMM.] > [Ethernet] to set the network parameters. If the TCP/IP communication of the device is successful, the icon will be displayed in the upper right corner of the standby interface.
Access Control
Click on icon > [Access Control] to enter the access control interface and set relevant parameters of access control.
System
Click on icon > [System] to enter the system interface to set the related system parameters for optimizing the accessibility of the device.
