Product Information
The IO Module is a device that allows for the control and integration of
various electrical and electronic devices. It supports multiple languages
including Danish (DA), Swedish (SE), German (DE), Dutch (NL), French (FR),
Italian (IT), Spanish (ES),
Polish (PL), Czech (CZ), Finnish (FI), Portuguese (PT), and Estonian (EE). The
current version of the module is 1.1. The module features a yellow LED that
indicates different modes and operations. It also has a reset button for
resetting the
module.
The IO Module is CE-certified, ensuring compliance with European safety standards.
Product Usage Instructions
Gateway Search Mode
To search for the gateway mode:
- Connect the IO Module to a power outlet.
- Wait for the yellow LED to start blinking.
Resetting the IO Module
To reset the IO Module:
- Connect the IO Module to a power outlet.
- Press and hold the reset button located on the module using a pen or a similar tool.
- While holding the button, the yellow LED will first blink once, then twice in succession, and finally a large number of times in succession.
- Release the button when the yellow LED blinks a large number of times in succession.
- The LED will blink once for a longer duration to indicate that the reset is complete.
Note: Ensure that you follow the instructions specific to your language as mentioned in the user manual for proper installation and usage of the IO Module.
Installation manual PRECAUTIONS
- Do not remove the product label, it contains important information.
- Do not open the device.
- For safety reasons, you should always disconnect the power from the IO module before connecting cables to inputs and outputs.
- Do not paint the device. PLACEMENT Connect the IO Module to a device located indoors at a temperature between 0–50 °C.
- CONNECTION TO WIRED DEVICE You can connect the IO Module to various wired devices: doorbells, blinds, wired security equipment, heat pumps, etc.
- The connection between the different devices follows the same principle using different inputs and outputs (see figure a).
- THIS IS HOW YOU GET STARTED Once the device is connected and the power is on, the IO Module will start searching (up to 15 minutes) for a Zigbee network to join.
- While the IO Module searches for a Zigbee network to connect to, the yellow LED light flashes.
- Verify that the Zigbee network is open to devices that will connect to, and will accept the IO Module. When the LED stops flashing, the device has been linked to a Zigbee network.
- If the scan time has expired, a short press on the reset button will restart it (see figure b).
- RESETTING Connect the IO Module to a power outlet. Press and hold the reset button with a pen (see figure b). While holding down the button, the yellow LED blinks first once, then twice in a row, and finally several times in a row (see Figure c). Release the button while the LED light flashes several times in a row. When you release the button, the LED light shows one long light flash and the reset is complete. MODES Mode to search for system port: The yellow LED light flashes.
