Thermostat Operation

The T721i thermostat has several operation features:

  • LCD Display: Shows various icons and information.
  • Glow in the Dark Light Button: Self-illuminates after exposure to ambient light, can be pressed to turn on the display light.
  • Fan Button: Controls the fan operation. Select ON for continuous fan operation or AUTO to run the fan only when the heating or cooling system is on.
  • System Button: Selects the operation mode on the HVAC system. Options include HEAT, COOL, OFF, and EmH (for heat pumps with auxiliary heat).
  • Temperature Setpoint Buttons: Press the + or – buttons to select the desired room temperature.

Thermostat Warranty Information

Your T721i thermostat comes with a 5-year limited warranty. To activate the warranty, you must register your thermostat within 60 days of installation. Thermostat Operation

Thermostat Operation

  2. Glow in the Dark Light Button
    The glow in the dark light button will self illuminate for several hours after exposure to ambient light. This button turns on the display light when pressed.

  3. Temperature Setpoint Buttons
    Press the + or – buttons to select the desired room temperature.

  4. Fan Button:
    Select ON or AUTO. ON will run the fan continuously. AUTO will run the fan only when the heating or cooling system is on.
    Note: Some systems may have fan control disabled.

  5. System Button:
    Selects the operation mode on your HVAC system. Selecting HEAT turns on the heat mode. Selecting COOL turns on the cool mode. Selecting OFF turns both heating and cooling off. Selecting EmH (for heat pumps with auxiliary heat) will lockout the compressor and control emergency/auxiliary heat.

Thermostat Quick Reference

  1. Indicates the current room temperature
  2. Setpoint: Displays the selected setpoint temperature.
  3. System Operation Indicators: The COOL ON, HEAT ON or FAN ON will display when the COOL, HEAT, or FAN is on. The compressor delay feature is active if these are flashing.
  4. WIFI Indicator: Shown when connected to WiFi.
  5. Globe: Globe is displayed if an energy efficient temperature has been selected.
  6. Fan: Indicates the current fan setting.
  7. Stages: +1 will appear in the display when the first stage of heat or cool is on. +2 will appear for the second stage of heat.
  8. System: Indicates current system mode setting.
