FAQ

What do I do if the delivery is missing some parts?

Only begin assembling the product when a replacement part has been delivered. If the scope of delivery is missing some parts or contains damaged parts, then you will receive a replacement free of charge. Send us your purchase receipt and article number via email. Should parts be lost or damaged by improper use, then they can be purchased through our spare part and accessory range. Contact us!

The retractable screen is stuck or can no longer be opened or closed?

- Retractable screen and guide rails must be constructed in a right angle to one another. - Strings must be evenly tensioned above and below. - It is possible that a string has been caught when attaching the end caps.

What should I be aware of when cutting?

Shorten the aluminium sections with a metal saw. A mitre box will ensure an exact cut. If necessary, attach the parts which are to be shortened via a screw clamp in the mitre box, without squashing it.

OVERVIEW

WiNDHAGER Insect Screen Pleated Door logo - OVERVIEWMeasure width B by determining the horizontal wall to clearance distance. Measure height measurement H of the jamb by determining the vertical wall to wall distance.
Please note: You will need a jamb depth of min. 30 mm and a contact surface of 35 mm on each side to install the insect screen.
NB: Please be aware that measurements are in millimetres. 1 cm = 10 mmWiNDHAGER Insect Screen Pleated Door logo - OVERVIEW
1Shorten the pleated cassette 1 together with the guide rail 1a on both sides with a metal saw according to the following formula: (2202 mm – H)/2. Deduct the height measurement H from the total length of the pleated door (2202 mm) and divide the result by 2. Mark this measurement on both sides and shorten the cassette accordingly. Note the position of the cassette. Example: Measured height of the jamb H = 2000 mm >>> (2202 mm – 2000 mm)/2 = 101 mm Please note: Risk of injury! Take care when using the saw. Use a file to deburr the raw edges.WiNDHAGER Insect Screen
