Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the product before being charged. Do not mix new and used batteries; do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable batteries. Replace all batteries at the same time. Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity (+ and -). The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited. Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the product. During periods of prolonged storage, the battery may enter sleep mode; the erase button may need to be pressed 10 or more times to wake the battery. Remove batteries if product is to be left unused for a long time. Batteries must be changed by adults; keep batteries out of reach of children. Flat batteries can still be dangerous. Tell others about the risk associated with button batteries and how to keep their children safe. Upon disposal of this product, remove batteries and recycle them properly.
