CR2016 Writing Tablet
Retain these instructions. Failure to follow these safety instructions could
result in fire, electric shock, other injury, and damage to the Boogie Board
or other property. Do not use Boogie Board for other than intended use. This
product in not intended for use by young children without supervision. Examine
devices and make sure the battery compartment is correctly secured, e.g. that
the screw or other mechanical fastener is tightened. Do not use if compartment
is not secure. Do not attempt to open this product other than to replace the
batteries using the battery cover. Only use CR2016 3V lithium batteries with
this product. Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. Rechargeable
batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision. Rechargeable
batteries are to be removed from the product before being charged. Do not mix
new and used batteries; do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or
rechargeable batteries. Replace all batteries at the same time. Battesies are
to be inserted with the correct polarity (+ and -). The supply terminals are
not to be short-circuited, Exhausted batteries are to be removed from product.
During periods of prolonged storage, the battery may enter sleep mode; the
erase button may need to be pressed 10 or more times to wake the battery.
Remove batteries if product is to be left unused for a long time. Batteries
must be changed by adults; keep batteries out of reach of children. Flat
batteries can still be dangerous. Tell others about the risk associated with
button batteries and how to keep their children safe. Upon disposal of this
product, remove batteries and recycle properly. Do not dispose of batteries in
a fire. Follow battery manufacturer instructions,

This symbol on the product, packaging, or batteries indicates that this
product and batteries must not be disposed of with your other household waste.
Instead it is your responsibility to dispose of your waste equipment and
batteries by handing it over to the designated collection point for the
recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment or batteries.
The separate collection and recycling of your waste equipment at the time of
disposal will help to conserve natural resources and ensure that the it is
recycled in a manner that protects human health and the environment. Customer
participation is important to minimize any potential effects of batteries and
accumulators on the environment and human health due to the potential presence

city office, your household waste disposal service or the shop where you
purchased the product.
WARNING: This product contains a Button or Coin Cell Battery. A swallowed
Button or Coin Cell Battery can cause internal chemical burns in as little as
two hours and lead to death. Dispose of used batteries immediately. Heep new
and used batteries away from children. If you think batteries might have been
swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical
attention.
