Connections and Controls

  1. Input Gain. Sets the level of the input signal before it is amplified.

  2. Low Pass Filter. Sets the upper end of the frequency range reproduced by the Eris Sub 8BT. If you enabled the onboard High Pass Filter, set this control to 80 Hz. Otherwise, set the Low Pass Filter to the lowest frequency that your main monitors can reliably reproduce.

  3. TRS Inputs. Balanced 1/4” TRS line-level inputs.

  4. RCA Inputs. Unbalanced RCA line-level inputs.
Note: When both connections are in use, the RCA inputs will sum into the balanced TRS connections.

  5. Bluetooth Button. Pressing this button starts the pairing process.

  6. Standby used to engage/disengage a power save mode that adheres to the EU Energy Efficient Products Directive to conserve energy when not in use.

  7. Polarity. Reverse the polarity of the summed input signal. Power User Tip: Once you have connected your Eris Sub 8BT to your system, try experimenting with each setting while listening to your favorite music. Leave this switch in the position where the bass was the loudest.

  8. High Pass Filter. Removes frequency content below 80 Hz from the full-range signal sent form the Eris Sub 8BT outputs. This is useful if your main studio monitors do not provide an onboard high pass filter.

  9. TRS Outputs. Balanced 1/4” TRS line-level outputs.

  10. RCA Outputs. Unbalanced RCA line-level outputs. 11. Power Switch. This is the On/Off switch, the power status is indicated by the illuminated logo on the front of the cabinet.

  11. AC Select Switch. The input-power voltage is set at the factory to correspond with the country to which it was shipped. You should only change the setting if you’re using your Temblor Eris Sub 8BT in a country that uses a different standard voltage.

  12. IEC Power Connection. Eris Sub 8BT accepts a standard IEC connection.
