Active Cabinet (Rear Panel)

  1. High. Boosts or cuts all frequencies above 10 kHz by ±6 dB.

  2. Low. Boosts or cuts all frequencies below 100 Hz by ±6 dB.
Power User Tip: The Acoustic Tuning Controls work much like the treble or bass controls on a car stereo.

  3. TRS. Balanced ¼” TRS line-level inputs.

  4. IEC Power Connection. This connection accepts a standard non-polarized IEC320 C7 power cord.

  5. RCA. Unbalanced RCA line-level inputs.
Note: While the TRS and RCA inputs offer a choice of connection type, they don’t allow simultaneous connection of multiple sources.

  6. Bluetooth Button. Pressing this button starts the pairing process.

  7. Bare-wire connectors (Output to Right Speaker). These send audio to the passive Eris® speaker.
Note: Always connect the positive and negative connections on your active Eris cabinet to the corresponding connections on the passive cabinet. (i.e., connect positiveto-positive and negative-to-negative).

  8. Standby used to engage/disengage a power save mode that adheres to the EU Energy Efficient Products Directive to conserve energy when not in use.
    Active Cabinet (Front Panel)

  9. Volume. Sets the volume level of the input signal before it is amplified, as well as the front-panel headphone amp.

  10. Aux Input. This stereo 1/8” jack accepts audio signals from sources such as laptops, tablets, and smartphones.

Troubleshooting

No Power
Make sure your active Eris is plugged in. If it’s connected to a power strip, make sure that’s switched on and functioning properly.
No Audio
Make sure the cable connecting your audio source to the monitor is working correctly. If you’re trying to stream audio from a Bluetooth device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), make sure it’s paired to the monitors. Also, verify that the device’s volume control has been turned up.
If the passive speaker is silent, check the bare-wire connections, making sure the bare wire is fully inserted into each connector.
Hum
This is caused by a ground loop. Make sure all audio equipment is connected to a properly grounded power source.
Thin Sound
Check the bare-wire connections, and make sure the positive and negative connections on your active Eris cabinet are connected to the corresponding connectors on the passive cabinet. (i.e., positive-to-positive and negative- tonegative).
