KFI PRODUCTS 101320 YXZ Winch Mount
Product Information
The Yamaha YXZ Winch Mount (Part #101320) is a kit that includes various
components for mounting a winch on your machine. It comes with a Winch Mount,
Fairlead Bracket, and a hardware kit (HK-408).
Please note that not all hardware included in the kit will beused.

Note: The bumper (101010) is compatible with this Winch Mount but sold separately.
Product Usage Instructions
Before installing the winch mount, make sure to have all the necessary hardware and thoroughly read and understand the instructions.Figure 1: Bumper attachment
- Locate and remove the 4 bolts (A) that attach the bumper to the machine as shown in Figure 1. Keep the hardware nearby as they will be reused. The bumper will not be installed again.
- Place the top of the Fairlead Bracket (2) under the top tab of the Winch Mount (1). Secure it with 3 Carriage Bolts (3.1) and Locknuts (3.2). Refer to the exploded diagram and Figure 2 for visual guidance.
- Position the assembled winch mount on the machine using the same bolt locations as the bumper. Reuse bolts (A) to secure the mount to the frame as shown in Figure 2.
- If you don’t have the bumper for this mount, the fairlead can be installed on the fairlead bracket (2) using the hardware provided with the winch. For standard winches, use fairlead holes (B) for installation. For wide winches, use fairlead holes (D). Refer to Figure 2.
- If you have the bumper for this mount (sold separately), it should be installed with the fairlead. Use the bolts provided with the bumper (101010) to secure it, and use the fairlead bolts supplied with your winch to attach the fairlead. Attach the fairlead through holes (B) as shown in Figure 3 if using a standard winch, or through holes (D) as shown in Figure 4 for wide winches.
- Once the fairlead is installed and tightened, place the winch in the mount and secure it with the hardware that came with your winch. The rear bolts should go through plate 1 and then into the winch. The front bolts should go through plate 2, then 1, and then into the winch. Do not over tighten the winch bolts; follow your winch manual for torque specifications. Refer to Figure 5 for visual guidance.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Note: Make sure all hardware needed to complete this mount is in the package. Thoroughly read through and understand the instructions before installing.

Locate and remove the 4 bolts (A) that attach the bumper to the machine, as shown in Figure 1. Keep the hardware nearby as they will be reused. The bumper will not be installed again.

Place the top of the Fairlead Bracket (2) under the top tab of the Winch Mount (1). Secure with 3 Carriage Bolts (3.1) and Locknuts (3.2). See exploded diagram and Figure 2.

Place the assembled winch mount on the machine using the same bolt locations as the bumper. Reuse bolts (A) to secure the mount to the frame as shown in Figure 2.

If you don’t have the bumper for this mount, the fairlead can be installed on the fairlead bracket (2), using hardware provided with the winch. A standard winch will use fairlead holes (B) for installation. A wide winch will use fairlead holes (D) for installation. See Figure 2.

If you have the bumper for this mount (sold seperately), it should be installed with the fairlead. Use the bolts provided with the bumper to secure the bumper, and use the fairlead bolts supplied with your winch to attach the fairlead.
- If you have a standard winch, use holes (C) to mount the bumper, then attach the fairlead through holes (B) as shown in Figure 3.
If you have a wide winch, use holes (E) to mount the bumper, then attach the fairlead through holes (D) as shown in Figure 4.
- If you have a standard winch, use holes (C) to mount the bumper, then attach the fairlead through holes (B) as shown in Figure 3.

Once the failead is installed and tightened, place the winch in the mount and secure it with the hardware that came with your winch. The rear bolts will go through plate 1 and then into the winch. The front bolts will go through plate 2, then 1, then into the winch. Do not over tighten your winch bolts, follow your winch manual for torque specs.
