Overview

This TY-RC01 remote control is designed to be used with T&Y’s portable series teleprompter products, TY-TT, TY-KY03, TY-MT.
In order to better work with our teleprompter, we carefully selected teleprompter apps from the market, and finally selected DV prompter to match our products. DV Prompter app Is a FREE download from the Apple app store and Google Play.

Pairing to your tablet/ smart phone device

Switch the Bluetooth function ON within the tablet/ smart phone device settings.
Open the DV Prompter app and choose Bluetooth-WR-500 in the Remote setting.
Press the above top Play/Pause button, the light on the top of the TY-RC01 will now flash repeatedly several times to indicate that it is ready to pair with the tablet/ smart phone. Once paired a Bluetooth icon will be displayed in the lower right corner of the app.

Note :
The remote will sleep after 5 minutes of inactivity to save battery life.Press the play/pause button to wake the remote and it will automatically try to re- pair with the tablet previously used.

While scrolling text

  • ‖:Pause text
  • 、▼:Speed up / slow down text scroll
  • 、▶:Reduce / increase font size While text paused
  • ‖:Play text
  • 、▼:Skip next / previous break marker
  • 、▶:load previous / next script
  • Loading battery

TY-RC01 CR2032 button battery, due to transportation reasons, the original battery is not equipped.
Please use a screwdriver to remove the screws on the rear bottom case, then remove the battery compartment cover and install the battery.
Note : The positive and negative poles of the battery are installed correctly

FAQ

Q1: What system can the remote be used with? Apple or Android?
A1: It will work with all Apple and most Android tablet and smart phone devices.

Q2: Can this remote work with other apps?
A2: The remote has no compatibility in other, third party, applications.
