Operating Instructions
- Press & hold the power button to adjust lumens from max to minimum and then back to maximum ..
- Pressing the power button and instantly releasing will cycle light from spot light to flood light to off.
- The “HBS” button will turn off the “Human Body Sensor” radar function, this will allow the light to stay on continuously even after the user leaves the light for an extended time.
- This light has an obstacle detection system.
- If the sensor on the front of the light is obstructed for longer than a few seconds, the light will turn off.
- When the obstruction is removed, the light will turn back on automatically after a few seconds.

General Safety
- It is the responsibility of the owner to make sure all personnel read this manual prior to using the device. It is also the responsibility of the device owner to keep this manual intact and in a convenient location for all to see and read. If the manual or product labels are lost or not legible, contact Mateo Tool for replacements. If the operator is not fluent in English, the product and safety instructions shall be read and discussed with the operator in the operator’s native language by the purchaser/owner or his designee, making sure that the operator comprehends its contents.
- Read and understand all instructions. Failure to follow all instructions listed below, may result in electric shock, fire, explosion and/or serious personal injury.
DISASSEMBLY WARNING
Do not under any circumstance open lights, pry lights partially open, damage
gluing, damage welding, or damage/loosen fasteners or fastening devices.
Opening lights voids all expressed and written warranty’s/garranty’s and can
lead to risk of injury or shock. Opening lights voids IP rating and allows
foreign objects, solids, gas and liquid damage to the light and its ability to
operate correctly and safely.
Work Area Safety:

Keep your work area clean and well lit. Cluttered benches and dark areas invite accidents.

Do not operate lights in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust. Lights create sparks which ray ignite the dust or fumes.

Keep bystanders, children, and visitors away while operating a light. Distractions can cause you to lose control and endanger others.

Do not use in or around water, damp conditions, on wet surfaces, wet hands or while standing in water.

Do not use light around any flammable material or fuel.

Never attempt to operate light with defective or damaged light, wires, or any other visible damages. Have any defective or damaged parts replaced immediately by an authorized repair center.
Personal Safety: -
Stay alert, watch what you are doing, and use common sense when operating a light. Do not use light while tired or under the influence of drug’s, alcohol, or medication.

Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Contain long hair. Keep your hair, clothing, and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry, or long hair can be caught in moving parts.

Use safety equipment. Always wear eye protection. Dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection must be used for appropriate conditions.

Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. Proper footing and balance enable better control of the light in unexpected situations.

Slipping, tripping and/or falling while operating product can be a major cause of serious injury or death. Be aware of cord left on walking or work surface.
Light Use and Care: -
Do not use (or modify) the light for any other purpose than that for which it was designed without consulting the manufacturer’s authorized representative.
Service: -
Light service must be performed only by a Mateo Tool authorized service centers listed. Service or maintenance performed by unqualified personnel may result in a risk of injury.

Repair by unqualified personnel, use of unauthorized parts, and failure to follow maintenance instructions may create a risk of shock or injury.
Specific Safety Rules
DO NOT let comfort or familiarity with product replace strict adherence to safety rules. If you use this tool unsafely or incorrectly, you can suffer serious personal injury.
- Hold light by insulated gripping surfaces when performing an operation avoiding contact with hidden wiring. Contact with a “live” wire will also make exposed metal parts of the light “live” and shock the operator.
- Be aware that this light is always in operating condition, because it does not have to be plugged into an electrical outlet.
- Always be sure you have firm footing.
- Be sure no one is below when using the light in high locations.
- Some material contains chemicals which may be toxic. Take caution to prevent working dust inhalation and skin contact. Follow material supplier safety data.
- Clean lens before each use.
- WARNING: MISUSE or failure to follow the safety rules stated in this instruction manual may cause serious personal injury.

- MATCO TOOLS WARRANTS TO ITS CUSTOMERS THAT THE COMPANY’S MATCO TOOLS BRANDED PRODUCTS ARE FREE FROM DEFECTS IN WORKMANSHIP AND MATERIALS.
- Mateo Tools will repair or replace its Mateo Tool branded products which fail to give satisfactory service due to defective workmanship or materials, based upon the terms and conditions of the following described warranty plans attributed to that specific product.
- This product carries a ONE-YEAR warranty.
- During this warranty period, Mateo Tool will repair or replace at our option any part or unit which proves to be defective in material or workmanship.

- This warranty does not cover damage to equipment or tools arising from alteration, abuse, misuse, damage and does not cover any repairs or replacement made by anyone other than Mateo Tool or its authorized warranty service centers.
- The foregoing obligation is Mateo Tool sole liability under this or any implied warranty and under no circumstances shall we be liable for any incidental or consequential damages.
- Note: Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
