MECO CCT50 Clamp On AC Current Transformer

MECO-CCT50-Clamp-On-AC-Current-Transformer \(3\)

Product Information

  • Product Name: Clamp-On AC Current Transformer
  • Models: CCT50, CCT602MECO-CCT50-Clamp-On-AC-Current-Transformer \(2\)

MECO CCT Series of Clamp-On Current Transformer’s are designed for fast and easy installation. Clamp-On Current Transformer uses Permalloy Magnetic Core or Silicon Amorphous Core, with characteristics of small size, high precision, good stability and strong anti-interference ability. These sensor’s give a standard AC Current output which is suitable to conveniently measure on Single Phase / Three Phase Circuits with good stability and high anti-interference ability. It is ideal for power and energy measurement with high precision and small phase angle error in applications related to electric power, communication, monitoring and control. It can measure a variety of electric parameters without removing cables. The Standard length of Output Leads is 2 Meter. However Output and Leads Cable can be customized.

Product Usage Instructions

To use the Clamp-On AC Current Transformer:

  1. Select the appropriate model based on the desired rated input and rated output.
  2. Ensure the operating temperature is within the range of -25°C to 75°C.
  3. Make sure the operating humidity is below 85%.
  4. Install the transformer by clamping it onto the desired cable or bus-bar using the wide inner window.
  5. Connect the output to the desired device or monitoring system using the provided UL1015 22AWG twisted wire with a length of 2m.
  6. For current measurement, monitoring, and protection, connect the transformer to the electrical wiring or equipment to be monitored.
  7. When measuring current and power for electric motors, lighting, air compressor, heating and ventilation system, air-conditioning equipment, or automation-control system, connect the transformer accordingly.
  8. If using the transformer as a current, power, and energy monitoring device, connect it to the system that requires monitoring.
  9. Ensure to follow the electrical specifications, such as the frequency, input measuring range, rated output, and accuracy, for accurate measurements.
  10. For any further assistance or troubleshooting, refer to the user manual or contact the manufacturer.
