HARDWARE BASICS

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Upon plugging in the USB RF receiver dongle, the keyboard will be recognized by your computer or mobile device without requiring any drivers as both keyboard are pre-synced to the dongle. Follow the steps below to set up and start using them effortlessly.
- Remove the USB RF dongle from the back of the keyboard and insert it into any available USB-A or USB-C port on your computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone.
- If you haven’t done so already, please remove the battery PULL tab film on the back of both the keyboard to connect the battery power, then switch them on. They will connect to the USB RF dongle automatically.
- You are now ready to use the keyboard
RESYNCING USB RF DONGLE
NOTE: If you have received a replacement USB RF dongle, or if the
keyboard were not synchronized prior to being received or are not function-ing
correctly with the dongle, you can follow the steps below to resync them.
Keyboard
- Unplug the USB RF dongle from your computer or mobile device, and turn the keyboard off by moving the ON/OFF switch to the OFF position.
- Insert the USB RF dongle back into your computer or mobile devices.
- Bring your keyboard close to the USB RF dongle and turn it on. Then immediately press and hold down the Esc key with your left hand and repeatedly tap the “K” key (kkkkkkkkkk) swiftly for a duration of 3 to 5 seconds. (If resync is done successfully, Fn lock LED will blink briefly).
- Test the keyboard to verify if it works or not, if not working, please repeat steps 1-3. If needed, please contact our tech support, we will be glad to assist you.
TOP F-ROW SHORTCUTS
The keyboards top F-row (Fl-F12) is defaulted to boot up under Function key
mode (white text/icons) as indicated by the FN lock LED.
To utilize the shortcuts “blue printed icons” on the F-row, simply press and
hold the fn key followed by the shortcut you want to perform.
NOTE
You can switch the F-row from Function key mode to Shortcut mode at any time
by pressing fn+Esc which will then turn off the FN lock LED indi-cator. When
switched, you can still utilize the Function keys F1-F12 by holding down the
fn key followed by the Function key you would like to perform, vice versa. You
can always switch the keyboard back and forth between 2 modes by pressing Mac.

MEDIA KEYS AND EXTRA SHORTCUT KEYS
In addition to the shortcut keys printed in blue color, the keyboard has 4
media keys and 4 extra shortcut keys which always work whether the key-board
is in shortcut mode or Function key mode.

Please read the following carefully. Incorrect use of this product may result in reduced performance, permanent damage and void your warranty.
- Keep this device away from liquid, humidity and moisture.
- Operate this device only within the specific temperature range of 0°C (32° F) to 40°C (104° F)
- Please refrain from *king the device apart. Doing so will void your warranty.
- Do not dispose this product in the garbage. Take it to your local recycling center.

Warranty
X9 Performance warrants that this product will be free from defects in title,
materials and manufacturing workmanship for one year in North America from the
date of the purchase. If the product is found to be defective then, as your
sole remedy and as the manufacturer’s only obligation, X9 Performance will
repair or replace the product. This warranty is exclu-sive and is limited to
the product that this user’s guide ca-me with. This warranty shall not apply
to products that have been subjected to abuse, misuse, abnormal electrical or
environmental conditions, or any condition other than what can be considered
normal use. The liability of X9 Performance arising from this warranty and
sale shall be limited to a refund of the purchase price. In no event shall X9
Performance be liable for costs of procurement of substitute products or
services, or for any lost profits, or for any conse-quential, incidental,
direct or indirect damages, however caused and on any theory of liability,
arising from this warranty and sale. These limitations shall apply
notwithstanding any failure of essential purpose of any limited remedy.

This device complies with Part 15 of the Fcc Rules. operation is subject to
the Milo wing two conditions:
(1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must
accept any interference received, including interference that may cause
undesired operation.
